Obama whining a result of US decline

Why North Vietnam could defeat South Vietnam to unify Vietnam, but PRC cannot defeat Taiwan ?
Let mention on the relative size ...

North Vietnam about the same size as South Vietnam, while China mainland so big compare to Taiwan
Why do we need to defeat Taiwan, my friend? LOL

I think the short answer to that question is,
because taking Taiwan by force is not a smart move, and there is no immediate urgency to do so.
For the same reason, China did not take Hong Kong by force before 1997.
But if Taiwan declare independence, then China would be forced to do something, likely military action.

.
declare or not, Taiwan passports accepted world wide.
is there any difference ?

could you accept the fact that Taiwan never belong to China ? forever

There is a huge difference.

I think 1.3 billion Chinese(including some Taiwanese) has make it pretty clear that it is not acceptable.

What if Taiwan adopt the same scenario as Crimea to merge to Japan ?

I think that if Taiwan is to merge with Japan, then this would solve the Senkaku /Diayoutai island situation. Long have we Japanese nationalist yearned for the return of our old colony, Taihoku. ;)

I thought you work as a janitor in the US air force. When did you become a manufacturing industry specialist? LOL
Ask yourself that question, friend. At the same time, ask since when did a bunch of Internet Chinese who never been in the military made physics and common sense defying proclamations about weapons.

So you use the word of one doctor who I don't even know as sort of example of Chinese creativity? You talk a good sense of humor, my friend. LOL
If you want to go that route, then do you know any of the Chinese leaders who you blindly follows, my bland brain of rice friend.

The people work hard hours because it is required for low-tech manual labor to meet the deadline. Our efficiency is through hard work and meet the schedule. There is not a project that we don't finish on time. Result is what we speak, not some delusional talk. LOL
Yeah...American homeowners know of Chinese results when Chinese made drywall ruined their homes. Or Chinese consumers know of Chinese results of melanin tainted milk fed to their infants. Meet results at any cost. Sounds like a return to the 'good old days' of communism, to me.

You should stop using that handle, buddy. You do not have even 1/10th the brains of your namesake.

You ask such stupid question. LOL If they are willing to absorb one Tsar bomba, then we accept that condition. Deal or no deal? LOL

Taiwan ever asked PRC whether PRC accept their voted president or not?

.
The formal position of the Japanese government is to recognized PRC as the sole representative of China. Japan do not have formal diplomatic relation with ROC.

Whether you want to accept it or not, as the power projection capabilities of PRC grow day by day, the geographical importance of Taiwan island would become lesser and lesser.

We do not really care whether Japan would get itself involve or not. To be honest, you are too late to the game. You should spend more time worrying about your more immediate problems.

What if Taiwan adopt the same scenario as Crimea to merge to Japan ?
First of all, that is a very outrageous scenarios with very little basis in reality,
and second, that would be what I would called a really stupid move.

We do not really care whether China protests or not, Japan and Taiwan have a vibrant relationship. Taiwanese people can attain Japanese residency , as well as enjoy visa access.Long have we enjoyed positive relations with Taiwan (Taihoku). They are ever close to our bosom, as a former crown colony of Japan.

Hello my friend! My words speak of result. We could care less about anyone said. We are a result speaking people. LOL

Our leadership has a direct interest in protecting our country because their survival depends on it. Why we should not support? Joke? LOL

With over billion people and million small to medium size businesses, there is going to be a loophole. What's important is we are trying to fix the problem as it presents itself. Any country during their development phase will experience similar event.

Come one my friend, don't you know your country in Vietnam is a hell hole? Why aren't you doing something to help them? LOL

Very interesting thread, lets all keep it on track and abstain from personal attacks. That said I think that Obama's stance today also reflects the ineffectual status of UN (which is a gift of Bush era) and a rapidly changing Europe more independent in its approach to world affairs.

(Its a pity UN doesn't figure in most of such threads, you guys have already written it off as a minor nuisance?)
