Norwegian mass killer Breivik gets admitted to University of Oslo

COPENHAGEN – The University of Oslo says convicted mass killer Anders Behring Breivik has been admitted to its political science program, adding the 36-year-old right-wing extremist would remain in his cell to study.

Rector Ole Petter Ottersen said Friday “all inmates in Norwegian prisons are entitled to higher education in Norway if they meet the admission requirements.”

Two years ago, Breivik’s application had been rejected after the university said his qualifications were insufficient. It was unclear why the decision had been reversed. The submission stirred a debate in Norway over whether someone convicted of such a horrific crime should even be considered for higher education.

Breivik is serving a 21-year prison sentence, which can be extended when it expires, for killing 77 people in bomb-and-gun massacres in 2011.

So after 2 yrs if you apply in uni of Oslo they will have a different decision for the same person, same qualifications...Maybe the killing and the 21 yr sentence was the additional qualifications that were needed to enter...I seriously lost any respect for that uni

I just checked their website...I have all the necessary criteria full-filled except one. I am not white

Well in all honesty they arent biased on that .....But try killing a few people, they may overlook it

I did...brought them all the decapitated heads and declared myself atheist. The moment they looked at my face, passport and my background they said I am not mentally ill...I am a terrorist

Anyways I am gonna apply somewhere in Pakistan or Saudi.
