Standard procedure in such cases would be to divide the sample into two and send to different labs under different names to check for corroboration, plus a sample under the real name if there is suspicion of tampering.

It's not negligence, people sometime don't care. And such type of high profile cases , doctors avoid to go near patient and get blamed , if anything goes wrong. Doctors attend when they get approval from any govt agency or request from family member and he or she is present there.

There is another very important aspect, which people ignore. Noora does not cooperate and refuses to take medical aid from government. In this regard, of course, government cannot force him. This is one major reason for his medical complications.

What is the diagnosis? Is it Idiopathic Thrombocytopenia? There are treatments. I hope our doctors try to buy the drugs and treat him in Pakistan. For example one drug they can consider is Promacta. $5000/month, but probably a fraction of what treatment at a foreign hospital would cost.
