In the viral video, Aziz Memon used to say, 'After this video, SSP Nowshero Feroz and local jailers have forbidden my life. They are threatening me and my children. So I have arrived in Islamabad to seek refuge.

Aziz Memon has been associated with the journalism department for 35 years and has been a reporter for the Sindhi daily Kawash and KTN News Channel for the past 27 years. Survivors include a widow, two sons and a daughter-in-law.


The body of Sindhi language television channel 'TNNews' and 56-year-old journalist Aziz Memon's body were recovered from a canal in Nowsheraphiroz district of the southern Sindh province of Pakistan. According to local police, they were strangled to death by a wire. According to Azim Rajpar, SHO of Mehrabpur police station, the body of senior patron Aziz Memon was found outside the Rohri Canal branch near the Shamshan Ghat of Hindus outside the city.
