I guess Pakistan could buy some of them, as we have a long range need for our nuke delivery, specially submarine launched ones.

Iran has not shown a SLBM yet as we don’t have submarines large enough to carry BMs. We have shown off SLCMs that could be sold to Pakistan and fitted by Pakistan specialists to carry nuclear warhead. Iran’s research into nuclear warheads has been limited to BM and not CM where as Pakistan I believe even has artillery shells with tatical nukes. I may be wrong I am not very knowledgeable on Pakistan military.

Why would Pakistan need longer range missiles? You have plenty of range for your current BMs to target India (existential rival) and friendly relations with most nations that could pose a threat (China, Russia, USA, and NATO). So who would these missiles be for?

Shahin-3 has been in operation and is 3000KM max range (reduced payload).

Roughly comparable to Iran’s latest Shahab-3 models minus the warhead technology differences between the two countries.

I don’t think Pakistan needs anymore range honestly. It’s enemy is right next door. An S-3 has such a low probability of ever being used as nuclear war is suicidal for both nations.

Unlike Iran, Pakistan has more modern airforce thanks to Chinese strategic assistance as well as US aid.

Pakistan doesn’t have mature MIRV tech or even MRV tech. Since they (BMs) carry nuclear payloads their accuracy is 100m+ CEP.

The main threat to Pakistan BM is the stale trajectory they take in space when India is most likely going to attempt an intercept (exo atmospheric) with its PAD ABM. India’s ABM shield is weak and it’s air defense overall is weak. Too much populated territory to cover.

I doubt India would be able to intercept any significant % of BMs launched by Pakistan with or without MIRV/MRV.

Pakistan does have MIRV missiles, they've had this technology for more than 7 years officially. Pakistan likes to keep their nuclear weapons and missile technologies secret because uncle sam places sanctions.

BBC reported that Pakistan is working on MIRV technology with Chinese Help in 2010.
And now the ISPR statement on this test:
The ISPR said the missile system was “aimed at strengthening deterrence and enhancing strategic stability in the region through the operationalisation of Full Spectrum Deterrence in the overall construct of Credible Minimum Deterrence”.
It will be next level stupidity of Pakistan to falsely claim a technology in its arsenal despite knowing it will have huge strategic implications.

This will not end here.India will invest huge money in its BMD technologies after knowing about Pakistani capabilities.
Another strange thing: You think Iran has MIRV capabilities but when Pakistan officially announces its Capability, it's just a tall claim without any substance.

I don't know why he said that, Iran has shown the ability to implement MIRV warheads with its space program but no Iranian missile currently has a MIRV warhead. Maybe he was thinking of MaRV warheads.
