Well, there is no shortage of power.
As far as I understand power is available for states to buy at considerable rates.

Problem is infrastructure, which they are tackling at war path.
As with any infra improvement, all can not be done at once.

That's why I said to criticize after 3 more years when BJP's term gets over to criticize. That would be fair in my opinion.

The problem in debt. In my case, JSEB (Jharkhand State Electricity Board) does not have money to buy power, all the Power generating companies have put in strict conditions like clearing prior dues for power to supplied. This leaves a deficit of 50% state wide. Now of the remaining 50% majority of power is diverted to Ranchi, Jamshedpur and Bokaro. Balance is given to industries at a much higher rate leaving very little for common man.

Reason for such a condition - Daylight robbery by previous UPA and NDA govts in our nascent state.

That is not going to solve the current problem for sure...... Yes there are several projects on solar, like the one in Gujrat, and one in Cochin airport......

The performance is across sectors, from swatch bharat, rail reforms, road building, electricity infra, Ganga rejuvenation, Financial refirms, water ways for logistics, prompt response to stranded Indians, devolution of power to state, setting up of SIT, judicial reforms via NJC etc. etc.

Maybe you need to understand how Democracy works. You have not done any favour to the BJP by voting for them. You voted for them as a favour to YOURSELF. Because you believed it will lead to a better life for YOU.

If YOU want re-compensation, how about re compensating MODI for making false charges ? How about re-compensating BJP ?

Or do you think that re-compensation one works ONE Way ?

THAT is how a contract works.

What tomfoolery! My end of the contract is that I will not indulge in criminal acts and pay my taxes. That's it. Remember Govt works for me, not I for Govt!

My end of compensation would be the money corrupt BJP leaders take for bribe, It is a common knowledge that cut for ministers in all govt works awarded is 20% and 10% for bureaucracy,

I am talking specifically about the mess he has made of his Pak policy, given this is India's most serious foreign policy challenge everything else pales into comparison really. Not only has he made huge overtures to them, he has engaged in meaningless "gestures" towards them (hugging Sharif, touching his mothers' feet) and what did India get in response? Pathankot. Those animals came to destroy Indian strategic assets have no doubt, it is only because of the heroes in the intel agencies and on the ground that those plans were litterally blown apart along the perimiter wall. And to make matters worse Modi adds insult to injury by letting the very people who planned such an attack come and investigate it inside India- he allowed the criminals to investigate their own crime and thereby legitimised their "non-state actor" BS.


And the cherry on top is the events of the last two days, two MAJOR U-turns. Not only do the FS talks occur (after they were "suspended post Pathankot") but the GoI backs down on the visa for the Chinese whatever he was. Where is Mr 56 inch chest? Where is the decisive leader India was promised?

As I said earlier I am making my bet on his Pro-activeness in Foreign policy and the team with him . Jaishankar a Great Diplomat and Doval a great Intelligence Guy along with Modis understanding on Diplomacy makes me feel that they are doing it with a specific agenda which is not known to us may be time will answer that question . I seriously doubt that these guys would make such silly mistakes

There was meant to be a new SIT formed in late 2014 but no news ever came from that. I'm sorry bro but it just isn't good enough.

My point is simple buddy Modi wont do anything that hurts the Sikh sentiment he has great respect for them . He wont give clean chit to Tytler like what congress did that's what I am highlighting about. And when the case is in Courts he has little control over it

If the govt. does not work for you, vote for a change. It does not get any simpler than that.

In last 2 years, there are thousands of village which have been brought under power.
In next 3 years thousands more will be added.

It is not as if all villages will get power only on the last day of 5 year term. Come on, you are smarter than this line of argument!

My line of argument may seem rightly foolish and unfair but that matters not for me and voting block of my district. Such is the beauty of parliamentary democracy. I will judge on the basis of what he has done for me and not on the basis of what he has done for some village in Gujarat

I dont think one can expect the results from day one, But as you said One cannot wait for the end of 5 year for the results..... The reason Constitution kept 5 years for a term is to provide adequate time to run policies and get the desired results.... .But i think the results should start showing up from this year on wards......

Well the proof is in the eating of the pudding isn't it? For all the right people in right positions India is still being attacked, it is still losing its braves and it is still bowing down in front of an inferior nation. I had hoped there was a "plan" at work but there appears to be no evidence of it, the most logical explanation is that Modi is bootlicking the Americans and persuing their "talks at all costs" command.

Now you are deviating from the original line of your argument.
No one is denying your right to vote for people who would be best for your town/state/country. BUT that's not what we are debating.

We are debating about the power issue in your place and on the larger scale in rest of India and how Modi govt is handling it.

Not just Doval. Similar thinking was made in case of Modi as well.
Extreme RW thought he would resolve all the issues in 6 months and we would have a hindu nation by now
