I am surprised- We in Bihar are getting only 6 hour power cut these days- that too because we are their-2 city of Bihar and not Patna or Bhagalpur which have max- 4 hour cut or even less- during winter we were having 24x7 electricity- sometimes I feel good old days were better too much electricity is making me loose my mind-

Although I have seen 6-8 hours cut during this time in Delhi last year and I was staying in the Palam area-

Case in point fiasco over PF withdrawl and extra tax on Jewellers. I as an educated person can understand the rationale behind these measures being fiscal consolidation but the usual chap might not take such a charitable view.

I think Jaitley gave a good explanation on that extra tax on Jewellers in Rajya Sabha- You either pay on essential items or you pay some on luxury goods- The Govt- will collect the tax- so the money is going out of your pocket either ways-

As i said, I understand this measure. Bitter pill might cure the disease in the long run but in the short run it doesnt make it any less bitter and unfortunately aam admi seldom takes the long view

Unfortunately I agree with you.
Fortunately they are doing fairly early in their regime.

This is the advantage this Govt- has they should not worry about the next terms and do the dirty job of bitter pills- Some one has to do It-

hmm.interesting PoV. I wonder if the govt would see it this way... However I do agree, this govt is more concerned about the nation than the last however that is not something to be proud of. Now if Bihar elections had gone any different, we would have seen real progress..Damn! you biharis!!

Bhayya in BJP walon ko thoda mitti sunghana tha- Bhot hawa mein ud rahay thay zameen pe lana thoda zarouri hougaya tha- Do you know the candidate in my constituency never showed his face- I saw him only on the day when Modi came near my house for a rally- even that day he was in his car and waving around- and then there was some more stupidity in places like Jammui (two candidates claiming to be of NDA and beating each other out on polling day)-and If all this was not enough Bhagwat G ko arakshan ki yaad agayi-

I think we are yet to see anything remarkable from this Govt- and in fact I don't expect them to do some miracle although I must admit I would've expected a lot If MMS type person was PM in BJP- Without that leash on his neck- and full backing of the RSS-
