Do Muslims hate Sikhs? Do Sikhs hate muslims? What's the story behind their relationship?

Is muhammadens an acceptable term for muslims?

Mohammedan (also spelled Muhammadan, Mahommedan, Mahomedan or Mahometan) is an archaic Western term for a follower of the Islamic prophet Muhammad.[1] It is used as both a noun and an adjective, meaning belonging or relating to, either Muhammad or the religion, doctrines, institutions and practices that he established.[2][3] The word was formerly common in western usage, but the terms Muslim and Islamic are more common today.

The term has been largely superseded by "Muslim", "Moslem" or "Islamic", but was commonly used only in Western literature until at least the mid-1960s.[8] Muslim is more commonly used today than Moslem, and the term Mohammedan is widely considered archaic or in some cases even offensive

Some modern Muslims have objected to the term,[10] saying that the term was not used by Muhammad himself or his earlier followers, and that the religion teaches the worship of God alone (see shirk and tawhid) and not Muhammad or any other of God's prophets, according to Muslim beliefs. Thus modern Muslims believe "Mohammedan" is a misnomer, "which seem to them to carry the implication of worship of Mohammed, as Christian and Christianity imply the worship of Christ."[11] Also, historically the term al-Muḥammadīya has been used in Islam to denote several sects that have been considered heretical by mainstream Islam.

Sikhs hate Muslims because one of their Baba's was killed by the Mughals

If Sikhs hate Muslims then Muslims are bound to hate back, although a Sikh would never dare touch a Muslim

Yups... those very Sikhs in Indian army blasted Muslims in 1971... 90000 Muslims surrendered to a Sikh General.

I think language is common in both Indian Punjab and pakistan punjab . but Indian punijabi spoken by sikhs sound more pure and fluent where as pakistani punjabi comes with with a lot of urdu Dialect .but both Are (Daal khor):P

indian punjab is dominated by jatts and pakistani punjabis are mainly gujjars, janjuas and other non jatts. indian punjabis are sort of more prouder and punjabi culture center around us. our bhangra is mainstream and better. we are better farmers. we produce better crops and more yeild per acre. we are taller and bigger and braver.
