It's a good move to come back. PPP +ANP + MQM are the three largest political parties in Sindh and need to iron out their differences. I was very disappointed with MQM for leaving the govt. over a couple of seats in the AJK elections. It was too much for Altaf's Himalayan ego to accept that MQM would not have any representations in the AJK assembly.
Well, Zardari is determined to be the first PPP leader who completes his term--previous three tenures ended too soon for them. And then there is the prize of the Senate elections in March 2012 which PPP and its allies are bound to benefit from.
Knowing the wild mood swings of MQM's Altaf Hussein it was always possible that MQM would come back to power. But this time even I thought a point of no return was reached. I have to give PPP high marks for mostly controlling their statements except for Zulfiqar Mirza's lone outburst, despite grave threats and provocations by MQM.
In the end, whether corrupt or not, Zardari is the most flexible, tolerant, and shrewed of all Pakistani politicians.

first I thought as usual drama bazi... but when governor ran away from country and the killing started, talks with N league over senate elections were initiated.... I thought they are preparing for 2013 elections... but amazing !! simply amazing what this party is...nothing principle !!

KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has said that PPP would be withdrawing on two seats of AJK in the favour of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Geo News reported on Tuesday.

Addressing a joint press conference with Sindh Governor Dr Ishratl Ebad Khan at Governor House, Qain Ali Shah said these two seats were the bone of contention of all such issues. He said the President had been consulted on issue of withdrawal of the two seats of AJK in favour of MQM.

Qaim appreciated the political vision of MQM Chief Altaf Hussain, saying that Sindh Governor returned owing to this vision of Altaf. He said return of Governor would benefit the country.

On the occasion, Dr. Ebad Khan said he returned for political stability, adding that MQM Chief is of view that stability is more important. He added that ups and downs are part of politics.

Why do your own parties keep begging MQM for support. If they held MQM responsible for Karachi unrest, then they should boycott MQM. Why do PPP/PML-N/Q keep visiting 90? Why to blame just MQM, you wanted to get rid of Musharraf and in turn you got PPP as Govt, why blame MQM for all of your frustration?

As far 100s killings, it is very surprising, MQM was not in Govt. when these people were killed. Just ask your party that why didn't they ordered Rangers / Police to take action during 3 days, 4th day, Rangers controlled the situation, WHY?

You say now they have resumed their Governorship and there is peace. Still many people are being killed, read the newspapers.
