I think it is unproductive to label all Sunnis , my friend. I think, as an Abrahamic faith practitioner myself, its important to introspect and accept the fundamental truths in each faith. The salvific message of each faith and how to atone for one's sins. In regards to Islam, well in the end practitioners of the Sunni or Shia sect are still Brothers and Sisters in Islam. I think its important to not get caught in the theological laws of the sects; per so traditional practices of Sunni Islam and Shia Islam or put focus on supposed leaders and inheritors of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him, may Allah grant him Jannat). The focus SHOULD be on the Muslim's personal relationship with Allah, and completing the salvific message of the Angel Jibril that was revealed to Muhammad, the servant of Allah. Like all Prophets who were revealed the Beautific Vision.
The focus should be to Allah. Personal relationship with Allah, and the salvation that ALLAH, himself, will give.
The problem becomes semantic when people put unecessary emphasis on Abu Bakr or Ali et al. These are all dusts like any of us.
That's my view. Political twisting of religion.
May the Grace and Blessing of Allah the Most Merciful and Compassionate be with you. May Allah guide us all to peace, brotherly love, acceptance, and humility. Grant that we are made perfect before the day of judgment.
