oh boy.. why do i feel that he may not last long on this earth???
These are Mahdi's of the week, nobody takes them seriously. Probably some mental patients with a messiah complex. We should offer them psychiatric help not punish them for having a mental illness.

Looks like a bunch of idiots wasting precious time and money...

BTW why should a messenger only speak Arabic??

Firstly, the Mahdi (AS) is not a messenger...

Secondly, I think it is one of the signs of the Mahdi is that he can speak Arabic.

Maybe the Mahdi (AS) can speak more than one language, but Arabic is a language that I think the Mahdi (AS) will be able to speak. And Allah (SWT) knows best!

This just goes to show how much convincing ones mind can be. The human mind can convince itself of nearly anything.

Applies 100% to all mainstream religions too! And here we are, the faithful, trying to say only THIS guy is wrong!

Pakistan is not a lot of things that it should be - Secular is only the one thing Pakistan is not that a better man than you and me, Mohammad Ali Jinnah, said he wants Pakistan to be. We defy Jinnah in every waking breath we spend on the planet by opposing secularism.

Pakistan is definately an Islamic republic. A nation made for Muslims and Islam... Anyone who denies this is obviously delusional.

Also, Jinnah is just a man (a great man), but not a Prophet or Messenger. Why do you speak of him as this great infallible figure? You'd be a fool to think such a thing... Pakistan was not an idea coined by Jinnah, many others before him worked for this state. Allama Iqbal (Rah) passed away before Pakistan's independance, but worked long and hard to make this country possible.

To add, he was NOT a secularist. Jinnah NEVER once claimed he was a Secularist... Secularism is in direct opposition to Islamic teachings, as it takes away religion from the government, something which Jinnah opposed.

Jinnah was a great man, and a strong Muslim. He believed in Islamic teachings, an Islamic economy and an Islamic way of running the country! This is one of the furthest things away from Secularism.

A Segment from a Speech by Jinnah:

...I shall watch with keenness the work of your Research Organization in evolving banking practices compatible with Islamic ideas of social and economic life. The economic system of the West has created almost insoluble problems for humanity and to many of us it appears that only a miracle can save it from disaster that is not facing the world. It has failed to do justice between man and man and to eradicate friction from the international field. On the contrary, it was largely responsible for the two world wars in the last half century. The Western world, in spite of its advantages, of mechanization and industrial efficiency is today in a worse mess than ever before in history. The adoption of Western economic theory and practice will not help us in achieving our goal of creating a happy and contended people. We must work our destiny in our own way and present to the world an economic system based on true Islamic concept of equality of manhood and social justice. We will thereby be fulfilling our mission as Muslims and giving to humanity the message of peace which alone can save it and secure the welfare, happiness and prosperity of mankind...

How can you relate Jinnah's views to those of Secularist ideals, which promote an absolute removal of religious doctrines from the state?

An Islamic economic system is only possible with following what is mentioned in the Quran.

SOME ONE SHOULD HAVE KNOCKED SOME SENCE INTO HIM. :cheesy:

Alot of people will claim to be the Imam Mahdi, and he's one of them.
:blah::blah::coffee:

I think they should consult a good psychologists for such patients suffering from mental illness

If anything this incident shows that freedom of speech, secularism work and dictation of speech, blasphemy laws don't.

Did any one of you went off and became his followers due to his revelation? Blasphemy laws would've prevented him to come on TV and reveal himself but those 5 teenagers behind him, would've still followed him in private.

He used his freedom of speech to make his declaration. The speaker used his freedom of speech to shut him up. If any blasphemy law would've been used and this guy was punished or dragged to jail, only Islam would've been the loser and this guy would've become a martyr.

Freedom, always works.

A same kind of guy was given freedom a century before and his followers are now in some lakhs i guess..... and they are still trying to prove that guy right .... If such guys are given freedom the fitna will spread for sure..........
As the history tells us.... save others who will follow him this is a fitna and we should fight against every fitna....

Some stupid video and people have started debating if Pakistan was meant to be an Islamic state or not.

If Pakistan was meant to be an Islamic state then tell me why did the religious leaders of India such as Maududi say this:

"Who are the Muslims you are claiming to be a separate nation? Here, the crowd called Muslims is full of all sorts of rabble. There are as many types of characters in this as in any (other) heathen people”. (Vol. III, P.166)

“If you survey this so-called Muslim society, you will come across multifarious types of Muslims, of countless categories. This is a zoo with a collection of crows, kites, vultures, partridges and thousands of other types of birds. Every one of them is a ‘sparrow’. (Ibid. P.31)

One of Jamaat-e-Islami’s latter day claims has been that Mr. Jinnah wanted an Islamic state. Ironically this is what Jamaat-e-Islami’s philosopher in chief Maulana Maududi was writing back then:

“Pity! From League’s Quaid-e-Azam down to the lower cadres, there is not a single person who has an Islamic outlook and thinking and whose perspective on matters is Islamic“. (Ibid. P.37)

“To pronounce these people fit for leading Muslims for the simple reason that they are experts of Western type politics and masters of Western organizational arts, and are deeply in love with their people, is a manifestation of an unislamic viewpoint and reflects ignorance of Islam”. (Ibid. P.70)

“Even with a microscopic study of their practical life, and their thinking, ideology, political behaviour and style of leadership, one can find not a trace of Islamic character.”

Jamaat-e-Islami now claims claims that the Muslim League won the elections because it promised Pakistan as an Islamic state. Here is what Maulana Maududi said then:

“In no Muslim League resolution, or in a speech by a responsible leader of the League it has it been made clear that their final goal is of establishing an Islamic system of government. Those who believe that by freeing Muslim majority areas rule of Hindu majority, an Islamic government will be established here in a democratic set up, are wrong. In fact what will be achieved will be a heretical government by Muslims, indeed worse than that.” (Ibid. P.130-32)

Jinnah never envisioned an Islamic state, but rather a liberal democratic Muslim nation. Look at what Jinnah said a number of times.

“In any case Pakistan is not going to be a theocratic State — to be ruled by priests with a divine mission. We have many non- Muslims — Hindus, Christians, and Parsis — but they are all Pakistanis. They will enjoy the same rights and privileges as any other citizens and will play their rightful part in the affairs of Pakistan.”

Quaid E Azam, February 1948

‘We are starting with the fundamental principle that we are all citizens and equal citizens of one state. No matter what is his colour, caste or creed is first, second and last a citizen of this state with equal rights, privileges and obligations….”

“In due course of time Hindus will cease to be Hindus and Muslims will cease to be Muslims – not in a religious sense for that is the personal faith of an individual- but in a political sense as citizens of one state.”

“[If you] work together in a spirit that everyone of you no matter what is his colour, caste or creed, is first, second and last a citizen of this state with equal rights, privileges and obligations, there will be no end to the progress you will make.”

11 August 1947

“The tenets of Islam enjoin on every Musalman to give protection to his neighbours and to the Minorities regardless of caste and creed. We must make it a matter of our honor and prestige to create sense of security amongst them.”

30th October 1947
