Lies My History Teacher Told Me

it is unbecoming of a title holder to resort to name calling.
someone having a different point of view shouldn't be harassed in such way.

At the risk of sidetracking this thread, you do not know a damn thing about Viet Nam and the Vietnamese over this, little man with a little mind.
Interesting. Professional.

This is about the US, so name calling is necessary, especially from an academician to give it gravitas.
I am no part of this name calling or flag burning.
I will continue to offer differing PoV and will respect yours too.

Never asked for it. Never cared for it, the way you acclaimed yourself as 'academician'. What a laugh...
Countless posts form you and your hatred towards Islam in general and Pakistanis in particular also renders your acclaimed title pretty laughable.

In-fact the fact that you colluded with invaders and worked against your country and her people makes your entire self laughable.

What if a tsunami from the detonation wiped out tens of thousands on the coast ?
.

That's NOT how tsunamis work.

You are giving to much credit to Little Boy & Fat Man. 13 Kilotons of TNT & 21 Kilotons of TNT respectively, are NOT sufficient enough to cause Tsunamis.

. .
You sure about that...???

After Nagasaki was destroyed, the Emperor decided to surrender, but guess what...

Kyūjō incident - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

So even after two cities were nuclear destroyed, hardliners still wanted to prolong the war.
Ever heard about speeches/gestures meant for public consumption? You think he was mindless monster who did not care about his people? Was he not aware of the gravity? Had he had decided to fight till the last man last bullet even 100 N bombs could have not changed his mind. Japanese surrender was inevitable but US dropped the N bombs to snatch the victory from the Russians who were advancing towards Japan from the North West, had already invaded Manchuria from three directions, a reality that is largely ignored by the Western propaganda filmmakers, the primary source of 'knowledge' of many apologists.

I pose the question from the 1940s perspective. The argument was from today.

Not very smart from a claimed 'academician'.

What I posted was to illustrate how the Americans could not have know how the Japanese would react. Given the benefit of today's investigation, if the US had tossed the A-bombs into the oceans as many said the US should have, the war would have been longer.

How many of you defenders of Imperial Japan know of this...

Lets see, Japanese Military Production Infrastructure, Personnel, Ammo, Morale, all in tatters, but the US IGNORES targets of strategic military value, and bombs the hell out major population centers. That sure makes a lot of sense. Again this is with a 1940's perspective!
