Lasting lesson of 1962: don’t be caught off-guard again

Tibet was not part of China, But India accepted that Tibet is part of China.

This was the biggest blunders of Indian foreign policy.

This is something I will never forgive Vajpayee government for. But we can of course go back at it if needed. Unfortunately, no other government other than NDA has had the guts to make any decisions, good or negative.

Why India accepted Tibet a part of China?Just because Tibet is worthless,a barren land.
Why China must control Tibet?Just because we consider Tibetan is our brother.

when new delhi is ~200km away from the border, do you seriously believe you get the chance to choose what you want to do?

man, let's repeat this again: new delhi is 200km away from the Chinese border, it can be covered with guided rockets, Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Fuzhou, Tinjing, Guangzhou and all other Chinese population/economy/industry centers are >3000km away from the border.

period.

.
I think the lesson has been forgotten by Indians. That's why so many are cocky here and want to be proxy for white man. China needs for the sake of peace to give them a good spanking.

Didn't know India had a choice. If you hadn't agreed there would be no India today

then you will see our PLA distributing automatic and guided weapons to those Maoists freedom fighters, we can provide them J-10/J-11 fighters when necessary to support their independence movement. be aware that most of them are not considered as terrorists by UN, it is totally legal to do so.

you will also see our central bank's direct intervention on your exchange rate, with the solo aim to crash it.you will see Kashmir issue to be brought into UNSC as international issue rather than border conflicts.

oh, you should stop expecting internet/mobile networks in india to keep working, do you seriously believe those Chinese made networking gears are not fitted with back doors? do you seriosly believe we will keep supplying parts required for your power generators?

dude, get someone to translate the following very fine advice for you:

当今世界就是实力的世界,当中国科技、经济、军事完全领先于印度的时候,印度根本没有任何突然发难的机会。如果你不满意次等现状,建议在提高智商以后努力工作,3代人以后,如果运气好,或许可以赶上中国。但已经说了,未来70-80年没有希望了。

I think the lesson has been forgotten by Indians. That's why so many are cocky here and want to be proxy for white man. China needs for the sake of peace to give them a good spanking.

Didn't know India had a choice. If you hadn't agreed there would be no India today

we can easily reverse that: by refusing to provide any further networking/power generation/machinery products to india.

these indians got the chance to post here because they are using the internet infrastructure directly imported/assembled/tested/operated by Chinese, those devices are powered by electricity generated by Chinese power generator. yet they forget all these.

You should change your name from Peaceful to harmful first.

In reply to you rockets can travel hundreds of kilometers, their are other nuclear missiles in world which can travel upto 5000 km which is definitely greater than 3000 km.

let me tell you some simple maths and world politics:

1. we can easily build, deploy and fire thousands of such rockets. they are cheap, they don't need to be reliable, they don't need to be accurate. we couldn't care less about your "missile" defense system because there is no way to defend all of them. on the other hand, your missile that can travel 5000km is way too expensive. how many of them you have?

let me honestly tell you this: China has less than 100 such missiles.

2. you can't first a long range missile with nuke head first, that is suicide. let's say you take out entire beijing successfully, then what is next? oh, yes, nuke fight back from our JL-2 missiles, from our mobile launch sets in rural China.

3. the above is based on the assumption that the missile did launch successfully and can reach China. is that assumption always true? still remember the christmas launch diaster? whether new delhi is willing to risk using its own nuke to hit india due to such failure?

4. check mid course anti ballistic missile test. two nations can do it: US and China.

the most funny thing here is to listen some indian members to tell me that they have nuke missiles.

the math is all well and good but you desperately need lessons in world politics.
launching a full scale attack on Delhi means full-scale war, which will be prohibitely expensive for both countries. and no leadership will be foolish enough to initiate such an attack.

India already has a credible deterence against china and it's increasing missle strike capabilities, both land and submarine based. if anything,if china wishes to attack, the time is now and it is running out.

You're talking as if PLA's entire missile regiment is stationed facing our side right now.

Your population base is equally within our range. In a conflict, it doesn't matter whether whether distance is 200 or 3000 Km, it is also still a target and well within reach.

You're not a chooser in this conflict either.

Check the map. You share a border with us but that is that. Your deployment is the strongest in eastern zone where there is a heavy population base. We could launch a barrage of missiles on the incoming troop transports from your railroads that would itself be the achilles heel for you. Neither you nor we would want that.

let me honestly tell you this: China has less than 100 such missiles.

Oh and you would know? Let me tell you something; the figure of such strategic assets are not open to the public. And even if a figure is given, it is nowhere near truth.

2. you can't first a long range missile with nuke head first, that is suicide. let's say you take out entire beijing successfully, then what is next? oh, yes, nuke fight back from our JL-2 missiles, from our mobile launch sets in rural China.

Technically, we are par on that right now. Missiles don't need to be nuke armed. Conventional warheads would do as well. Let's just hope that it doesn't get to this. Neither of us would lost.

3. the above is based on the assumption that the missile did launch successfully and can reach China. is that assumption always true? still remember the christmas launch diaster? whether new delhi is willing to risk using its own nuke to hit india due to such failure?

Can you please be a bit more clear? Can't understand what you've written. Missile reliability is tested throughout the year and we know it.

the most funny thing here is to listen some indian members to tell me that they have nuke missiles.

Equally hilarious is rant of Chinese members claiming that they are capable of conquering entire Asia at the whim while CCP knows what are the stakes for such suicidal steps. :D

I think the credit goes to our first Prime Minister. But let's step back and analyse his options.
a) Accept Tibet as a autonomous region under China, and make a friend out of China.
b) Join the western powers and don't recognize the part as part of China.

By doing b), he will be thought as someone close to US( USSR won't be on his side for this). China would have become a enemy from day number one.

By doing a) China might find a saviour in him and border conflicts might become a cake-walk. To my guess, this might be the reason for the 1962 mis-adventure of India.

Thanks.

Like your name suggests you are peaceful by nature and have some great thoughts thank you for sharing them and explaining to Indians.

Why do so many Chinese and Pakistanis even speak with India in the same breath as China. It is flattering for Indians. It would be more meaningful to compare Indian prowess against smaller countries maybe like Nepal and then they can look good

One billion people still stuck in the 1962.
Move on with your life.

Oh..you know all those 1 billion? Please give me their names...if not, dont generalize and keep your mouth shut. I know its difficult but practice makes perfect.

Practice what you preach. back to topic. Indians have not learned their lesson. They need some more corrective therapy
