Kargil : Indian Army's operation "Vijay" was ineffective

I've read the article. He was mostly narrating from the PAF pov. Also his info is dated. We know pakistan sent its NLI into kargil not the irregular infiltrators as he said in the article.
His information is dated? He writes about an operation which was conducted when he was sitting at a high position in the PAF and that information is dated?
Please clarify what you mean by that?

The name of this thread brings out the mindset in you defence forces. For you an operation is conducted either by Army, Air Force or the Navy. That division was clearly visible during Kargil.

Kargil proved to be a fiasco for Pakistan.

.
and even then, in spite of clinton's support, india ended up suffering a net loss of loosing the highest peak in kargil which they couldn't get back even after taking over 30,000 casualties.

the problem is that indian army (along with their air force and navy) lack something that can neither be bought with money nor taught during training...THAT AGGRESSIVE WILL TO FIGHT!
KARGIL itself was in Pak till the 80s along with siachin. Guess who the actual loser in this entire conflict actually is.

.
22 years later, I'm just loving to see these indians struggling tooth and bitting there own nails trying to convince us that they somehow won what was in fact a humiliating defeat with a huge loss of some very strategic peaks like point 5353! lagay rho himdustanion, humay maza aa raha hay!

aray apun jeetay na ray, aray maan ja na ray, teray ko depeeka ki saugan maan ja na ray meray baap!

.
Lol.
India has already successfully retaliated back by capturing Point 5310 which is located one kilometer deep on Pakistani side of LoC and is far more strategically important than 5353.

More importantly the peak of 5353 lies on Pakistani side of LOC so Pakistan is actually not on Indian side of LoC.

Unoccupied peak sneaked in 2000s.
That said 5353 isn't the only peak Pak took in 99. Google bunker ridge, dalu nag etc. Several such peaks were taken and retained by Pak.

Indiansin reality know what happened. hence they played movies and propoganda to hide the reality and they still cant forget the shock, surprise and scare hence they remind and convince themselves that they won there time after time just like they convince themselves that they won the small Skirmish in February 19.

check this below.. talking about courage/.

Former Pakistan military ruler Gen Pervez Musharraf on Friday received praise for coming deep into Indian territory in Kargil in 1999 from former Army Chief Gen V K Singh, who said it showed the "courage" of a military commander.

erm, no. kargil remained with india post 1971 war and now, a part of it is with us. as for siachin, their plan was to quickly take gilgit baltistan but they got stuck in a barren wasteland where their forces are now stuck in between a brutal nature, Pakistan Army and the Chinese PLA. doesn't sound like much of a victory to me unless they consider getting rectal orgasms induced by dildos made out of icicles as a "victory"!

it backfired so bad that we ended up with the highest peak among others!

Hey don't blame the Indian media they were quoting the below one.
understand the tragedy of Indian narrative here. you need the Pakistani political opponents of the current Government in Pakistan to use it to prove your point. the quoted Guy deliberately made a vague statement about the foreign minister Qureshi and the Pak army general and his claim itself is so ridiculous that both needed his (and his party's) approval to get out of the conflict of Feb 19 where Pakistan had banged India in the broad day light shot down its jets and the throbbing was so dry and deep that it forced India to even shoot down its own Search and rescue helicopter to pick up downed SU 30 crew .

yea sure, you should go with the narrative of our opposition party although PAF outclassed the IAF.

.
You indians seem obsessed with this narrative. Tell me how did Syria maintain it's civil war? How did Taliban fund 20 year war against the Americans?
You now comparing Pakistani Armed Forces to rebels in a civil war?

.
Did India succeed in operation vijay?
Nope Pakistan did.

Pakistan actually won because it planned an operation and infiltrated its troops in the name of Mujahideen. When pounded from all side they had to pull back. Pakistan lost its face internationally.
But Pakistan won and India lost.

You guys are really hilarious.

The proof that Pakistan won and Op Vijay failed from the international press and your own generals.

A successful and winning army that left its dead behind.

while you are at it can you clarify why the WINING SIDE Pakistanis took many years to acknowledge the sacrifice of the NLI soldiers? Or was their life cheaper relatively?

Your words are meaningless here since you are behaving like a troll. Words of a professional have made it very clear :-

“Kargil, I suspect, like the ‘65 and ‘71 Wars, was a case of not having enough dissenters (‘devil’s advocates’, if you will) during planning, because everyone wanted to agree with the boss. That single reason, I think, was the root cause of most of the failures that were apparent right from the beginning. If this point is understood well, remedial measures towards tolerance and liberalism can follow as a matter of course. Such an organisational milieu, based on honest appraisal and fearless appeal, would be conducive to sound and sensible planning. It would also go a long way in precluding Kargil-like disasters.”

Was it a disaster for India or Pakistan?

Trolling and propaganda wouldn’t win you a war.

Did India succeed in operation vijay?

Did they retake all peaks back and expel pakistani prescense from the area just as op vijay entailed

think of this way...

an indian goes for a job interview.. and gives a classic malu interview ie fails it on technical and presentation level...

he is informed he sucks and is unfit .....and then drops on the ground and decides to give a massive blow job.

he then gets the job...

Indian's Kargil affair was like that. The funny bit they seem to have learned no lesson as evidence by the complete rout in the hands of the Chinese army

This stupid pajeet is back rather than answering the question he is deflecting to other sources

The reality is that Indian got grabbed by the neck and ran to uncle sam with the tail between their legs issuing the so-called nuclear threats

and uncle sam asked the Pakistanis that the Indian are gone mad leave them they didn't have coffins to bury their dead
