Chinese rate the planes with -1 generation numbers. A western 4th generation will be called 3rd generation plane. The rates J10 as a 3rd generation as well.

It may not be as big as in the past, as Pakistan is getting ready to transfer JF-17s to Nigeria and (allegedly) Myanmar. PAF blk I thunders are currently being upgraded to blk II.

because chinese count one generation less than western but even if it is then it got to be the best 3rd gen aircraft.

This 9 station talk is very old and even previous ACM Tanvir had mentioned of taking no of station to 9 i think adding one each under intake like j-10 or F16 style under intake

They r not going to add any station any where else they r going to use the multiple racks under each wing for multiple BVR etc. Just like F-16 Block 52+. One station will be added under DSI intake opposite to the GUN for AESALAN or DAMACLAS POD. But for that u need powerful engine r use of composite should be more than 50%.
