13:43 PM Jaguar crash kills pilot, girl on ground in UP: Just in: Two days after a MiG-21 crashed in Bikaner killing the pilot, a Jaguar fighter aircraft crashed in UP's Mau district, killing the pilot and a girl on the ground. The plane burst into flames soon after crashing in Dilahi Firozpur village in Mau, said the police.

REST IN PEACE BE THE SOUL OF PILOT AND GIRL. Some urgent and speedy steps need to be taken to ensure the safety of the flights especially the old fleet .

What the F*** is going on? Bad maintenance? Pilot error? Shoddy spare parts? Lack of training? Or heroics in the air? Let's wait for the C of I. The MiG that crashed a couple of days ago was I believe due to poor quality of spare parts for the MiGs. Is someone making a fast buck?

losing aircraft is one thing , but losing a qualified pilot is something else.
mig-21/27and jaguars needs to be replaced ASAP.

Theres anothe thread running on frum that Indian Air Force (IAF) has lost 999 aircraft in crashes since 1970 and someone said that if theres 1 more it will be 1000.It took just two days that it is 1000 now.

Whats happening? Who is accountable for such accidents? The arses of babus responsible for "snail's pace" in modernisation of of IAF should be put on fire. RIP brave pilot and innocent girl.

Damn..instead of focusing on MKI and soon-MMRCA production, we should give focus on LCA production, it is still manual..need to open a dedicated production line ASAP to make at least 30-40 LCA per year and throw out this Migs.
