Jack Ma Confirmed as Chinese Communist Party Member

Really? Then why do so many Viets want to be like the West? Do not deny it. We came from the same country. I just happened to be older than you and know more.

Marxism have proven to be a failure of global proportion. If it was so attractive, it would have been the West that collapsed. Instead, what have Marxism done for VN? Health care is guaranteed? You are confused between health care and medical care. A witch doctor would qualify as 'health care' as long as you follow his directions. But if you have cancer, then it is medical care, as in treatment of an existing and on-going problem.

Health care is you and how you live your daily life. Medical care is the physician, the hospital, the research, the experiments, the manufacturers of medicines and machines that treats you. When you break a bone, that medical care. Not health care. No Americans floated from Florida to Cuba for the better 'health care'.

Of the medical technology in the world, most came from the West where capitalism produced something like magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) was invented in the US.

Let the world know when that occur.

Check out Michael Moore's movie sicko. A bunch of Americans floated from Florida to Cuba for health care after they were turned away by American doctors. Cuba has more doctors per capita than anyone else.

Facts son. A lot of Americans go to dodgy clinics in Mexico, and India because they are unable to find proper treatment in America.

America does have some excelent healthcare facilities, but the majority of them are off limits to ordinary Americans, and only accessible to the 1%. Certainly those working at Walmart, and Mcdonalds aren't going to be able to access good healthcare. Unless you have a very good job in America, you aren't even going to be seen by the good doctors. There are even military veterans in America who regularly complain about how bad their benefits are. So you can imagine how bad the pizza delivery man is getting it.

American healthcare also comes out with all kinds of medicines that cause more harm than good, and many doctors prescribe these meds knowing that they will ruin your health. That's the ugly side of capitalism very few want to admit. Also, a lot of the research that goes into inventing such things like the MRI are done by foreigners. In fact, go to some of the top American schools, and take a look at the nationality of the phd students. A lot of the great things in America are actually made by foreigners. Even something like Microsoft Windows. Take a look at the engineers, and their passports.

In China, excellent entrepreneurs, scientists, civil servants and artists, musicians, actors, etc., it would be strange if they are not party members.

For Westerners, the Chinese Communist Party defeated the Republic of China and participated in the Korean War. It is a villain.
For the Chinese, the Chinese Communist Party overthrew the corrupt and incompetent Republic of China, established the People’s Republic of China, developed atomic bombs and hydrogen bombs, and distributed the land of the land
lord to the peasants to ensure that China will never be invaded by foreign countries. The Chinese Communist Party is All chineses parents and rescuers and now is also the role model for becoming rich.
Love to CCP for giving me and my family this beautiful and safe life environment!

Facts, son. I was stationed at MacDill for five yrs on the F-16. I know the area better than you do. Cuba, just like Mexico and the rest of the Americas, can and do have less expensive MEDICAL cost, but that is not health care. More doctors does not equal to better medical and health care. More doctors is not enough to convince Cubans not to try to float their way to the US.

For those Americans who went to Cuba for less expensive medical procedures, how many of them chose to stay in Cuba for good? :enjoy:

A lot of people are talking about the hypocrisy of China being a communist country but having a huge amount of wealth and actively participating in capitalism.

I admire that. China has not let itself be constricted by the definitions of communism/socialism/whatever. Instead they have adapted and changed the ideologies to suit their society at any given time.

We Pakistani's have much to learn from them in this regard. We should follow their example. We hamstring our society trying to fit it into the model of western democracy or "Islamic principles". We keep looking at the models of the past or of other countries and try to mimic them. Instead we should be creative and adapt those models to suit us right now. In the future if our needs change and to meet them we need to adapt the governance model - we should just do it.

Models of governance should not be sacred - human life should be sacred.

Facts, son. I was stationed at MacDill for five yrs on the F-16. I know the area better than you do. Yeah - your countries sanctions on Cuba play a big part in that. Nothing to be proud of.

Cuba has indeed created miracles in medical services and pharmaceutical production.

Canada and Cuba traded despite US sanctions. Would you care to do BASIC research on how much European, Soviet/Russia, and Asia trade with Cuba?

Cuba has indeed created miracles in medical services and pharmaceutical production.
Then why were these 'miracles' insufficient to keep Cubans from trying to reach America?

Dengxiaoping was a genius, When China was at the bottom of abyss in economy which was one of the worst in the world back then, people couldn't see even a glimmer of hope in total darkness, despairs and pessimism overwhelmed the whole nation, Deng single handedly found a way out and led China out of darkness and on a path to national strength and prosperity, if not for him, China could still be in that predicament even today, moving from pillar to pillar.

I thought Mao turned China into what it is today despite the heavy costs of the human population.

1)Because your country robbed weak country like Qing China and Philippines ......and get the first lot of money and then start to use the robbed money to make innovations and start talking about human rights when you get rich enough, and now you are calling the innovation of China is a threat to you?!
Look at how US treats CHINA very advanced companies like Huawei and ZTE!!!
A private chinese company can threaten US national security?!
Give us a break,will you!
Only 1000 nukes can threaten US!and you know it,you guys just can not play a fair game!!

2)People want to get US money ,they love their homeland whereever they are, they want to get rich like every body else.Whatever US did to native indians and to other country like mexico,China qing ,philippines, they made it and become rich!
4)That does not deny the miracles made by Cuba with so much limited ressources, even your beloved US imports a lot of medecines from Cuba every year!

Your disinformation about everyone being equal in status and income is false. Under Chinese comunism, and indeed most comunism, not everyone is equal. In fact, the bourgeoisie are placed at the bottom almost every time. Intellectuals, and artists also have low status, however, it is the workers who have the high status. Factory workers were paid more than goverment officials. That's a fact, and no one who has lived under comunism will fall for such disinformation that those who don't work have equal status to those working in the fields. That simply isn't true. Youngsters were told to learn from farmers, and farmers were given a level of prestige that is non existant under capitalism. Lazy people had no prestige whatsoever in comunism. Comunist China valued those who worked with their hands, and despised lazy people. This is why lazy people, and parasites hated comunism so much, because these lazy people wanted something for nothing, and that was only something they could get after Xiaoping's reforms, which is why they all praise Xiaoping today.

I did not write everyone under Chinese communism is having equal status and income, what I wrote is "It was decided that it is impossible for everyone to share the wealth equally at the same time, so the plan was to let a small group of people becoming rich, and with their entrepreneurship help China's economy to grow. "

Read carefully before you blasted loudly with your anti-socialist sentiment.

How Come There Are So Many Billionaires in Communist China?
Bloomberg News

It’s official now that Jack Ma, chairman of the Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba Group Holdings Ltd., is a member of the Communist Party. He’s also the richest of a growing gaggle of high-net-worth individuals in China, who between them control $6.5 trillion. The story of how China’s Communist Party, long an opponent of capitalist ideology, created one of history’s greatest breeding grounds for personal wealth begins four decades ago when then party patriarch Deng Xiaoping introduced reforms that would drastically transform the country into the world’s second-biggest economy.

1. How many billionaires does China have?
The Bloomberg Billionaires Index tracks the wealth of the 500 richest individuals globally, 38 of whom are Chinese. More broadly, global wealth research firm Wealth-X found that of the world’s 2,754 billionaires, 680 (25 percent) were in the U.S. and 338 (12 percent) were in China. UBS Group AG estimates a new billionaire is minted in China every two days.

2. Why has China’s Communist Party let people get rich?
It’s a necessary evil. The party identifies among its core tasks the advancement of the fundamental interest of the greatest majority of Chinese people. Deng, who famously said poverty is not socialism, interpreted this to mean that it was okay if some people needed to get rich to improve the livelihoods of the masses. Since the introduction of his reforms, more than 700 million people have been lifted out of poverty in China.

3. Does that mean the party doesn’t care if China is communist?
The party’s constitution says its “highest ideal and ultimate goal is the realization of communism.” But it doesn’t give a time frame for achieving it, so party leaders have a lot of room to maneuver within that broader goal. That allows space for divergent views to co-exist: Mao Zedong is still revered despite disruptive moves that led to famine and bloodshed, as is Deng for embracing market forces and foreign investment. Still, it remains important for leaders to pay respects to the founding ideology: President Xi Jinping this year publicly celebrated the 200th anniversary of Karl Marx’s birth, including giving a statue to his hometown.

4. What would communism in China look like?
Officially, China views communism as a modern-day utopia: Everyone would collectively own the means of production, all citizens would work for the common good, everybody would be equal and wealth would be distributed based on need. Whether that’s realistic or not, the party has outlined stages of development needed to get there. Before communism, China must first realize socialism, which Xi has set out to do by 2035.

5. What would socialism look like?
In a speech last year, Xi said socialist modernization would mean China is a global leader in innovation, the rule of law would be in place and Chinese culture would have greater appeal around the world. People would live comfortable lives, everyone would have access to basic public services and income disparities -- particularly between urban and rural areas -- would be significantly reduced. The environment would be fundamentally improved as well.

6. So the party supports personal wealth?
reduce this inequality. One way that’s translating into policy is taxation, where officials have cut taxes on lower-income earners while pushing forward with levies on assets such as property that will increase the burden on the wealthier.

7. What risks do billionaires face in China?
Xi’s government has stepped up scrutiny of how the wealthy earned their money, and even apparently well-connected tycoons have fallen. High-profile cases include investigations into Wu Xiaohui, the founder of Anbang Insurance Group Co., and financier Xiao Jianhua, whose Tomorrow Holding Co. was ordered to divest from many of its financial assets. Some go missing: Landing International Development Ltd. saw its value plummet after its ex-billionaire Chairman Yang Zhihui mysteriously disappeared, and recouped some of that when he resurfaced three months later. Others like Guo Wengui have fled overseas: This month he teamed up with President Donald Trump’s former chief strategist Steve Bannon to raise $100 million in support of investigations into deaths and disappearances of Chinese executives, politicians and public figures.

8. Do China’s wealthy have a say?
They do. Many of China’s richest men and women are members of the country’s parliament or its advisory body. That gives them an opportunity to influence the direction of policy by submitting proposals for legislation or lobbying government officials. Some of those who have benefited from Xi’s policies, such as Tencent Holdings Ltd.’s Ma Huateng, were delegates at China’s National People’s Congress this year.

1.Why CN have some billionares ?? Its thanks to Deng's azz licking policy since 1978 when Deng came to JP and US and beg for money and protection.( all mainland bilionare were just a bunch of dumb &starving peasans before 1978 )

2.What is the bad side of Deng's azz licking policy ?? it make PLA from united & strong will army during Mao'era become corupted & coward cos PLA dont have to fight hard anymore when CN was under US's protection against Soviet's threat. And of course useless, corrupted PLA wt stupid generals who only know "human wave tactic" can not protect CN anymore when US abandon her after Soviet collapse and turn CN to the next target.

You should reread what you wrote. You said that no Americans floated from Florida to Cuba for health care and your own compatriot proved you wrong. I never said that Cuba has better medical care, however, they do make it accessible to ordinary people, whereas America does not. And in fact, if you pay more attention to healthcare, you will know that getting diseases treated early prevents it from getting worse. What happens in America is, a lot of people don't get to see doctors when their health problems are minor. They don't see a doctor until things get really bad. In fact, I know one American who has cancer now. He didn't have healthcare, so he never saw a doctor until he was in the final stages. So actually, it's not about superior healthcare, it's about getting seen before things get bad, and a lot of it is simple basic medicine that general practioners can treat.

I never said Americans stayed in Cuba, besides,99% of Americans couldn't stay in Cuba even they wanted to. The American regime also restricts American travelers from going to Cuba. It's also a known fact that the American regime puts pressure on the Cuban gov when American disidents DO flee to Cuba. Read up on Robert F Williams.

And please explain to me how being stationed in a US mlitary base qualifies you as an expert on Cuban civilian life? I don't see how you would know anymore about Cuba than Joe Dirt living in a trailor park. The only thing you would know is what is being fed to you by your superiors, and they probably no more qualified on the subject than you are. Going by your own logic, doesn't that make Cubans also experts on McDill, given their proximity to the area? So I guess they should be giving lectures on McDill while you give lectures on Cuban life?

1.Why CN have some billionares ?? Its thanks to Deng's azz licking policy since 1978 when Deng came to JP and US and beg for money and protection.( all mainland bilionare were just a bunch of dumb &starving peasans before 1978 )

Jack Ma was not just a dumb peasant. He was a heiwulei, who descended from landlords. The majority of beneficiaries of China's reforms are these former landlords, (enemies of the people); and NOT ordinary Chinese.

reduce this inequality.

That looks like disinformation to me. If today's China is comunist, and 1966 China was ALSO comunist, then what's the point in having comunist, and capitalist labels? We might as well call Amerika, and Europe comunist too, and while we're at it, let's call north Korea capitalist.

China's inequalities since 1978 is caused by capitalism, and Xiaoping's embrace of western market style economies. I don't think you quoting bloomberg helps your case at all, because the mainstream media is not known to be a source of credible information, especially when it comes to China. I agree with you that Xiaoping's statements about shared wealth is wrong, but China after 1978 was not comunist. In fact, they are anti comunist. If you tried talking about communal kitchens today, or beating rich people, you'd get in trouble.

There are two systems in CHINA ,the CCP system and the government system

Wt just few tariff Trump slaping on Cnese goods, thats seem enough to make Jack Ma scared to Dead and has to resign from Alibaba to avoid a humiliation loss in his bussiness ( before Deng came and lick Jap's azz in 1978, Ma was just dumb poor peasant and could not even buy a cheap buger in Mc Donal) and Xi has to bow down and beg for a concession to Trump in the next meeting
