Correction USA won independence by fighting for independence. They really fought for independence compared to a favour given to Indian for supporting British in WW2. But guess what look at USA today and British today we have left them behind to become the sole superpower. You see the difference this is winning independence gets you. LOOL Calm down bro, India fought two world wars under our rule/control , you were not independent at all, you were part of our empire, so you had no say/control at all, we made the rules and trained/armed your soldiers and transported them to the battle field, we did it with several other countries that were part of our empire. By that reasoning all our former colonies whose soldiers participated in the war under us ought to get a seat as well, since they fought for us.loool As i said the only two independent countries in Asia back then was China and Japan full stop. Chinas role under the KMT was also crucial, since they were able to hold off Imperial japan's formidable army for almost 10 years(yes way longer than we fought the second world war) while fighting a civil war at the same time, thats no easy task, had India been in the same situation without our security cover/rule, Japan would have conquered it in a few months. So yes they contributed alot as well to Japans defeat, for your infos almost 50% of Japans casualty during the war was against the KMT China. I agree with your last point , many people have been saying the same thing for decades now. Fact of the matter is that the world has never been a fair place, and it will never be. So we can keep going on about how Japan, Germany, India, south Africa, brazil etc deserve a seat, but that wont change anything, the established powers P5 wont want to dilute their interests/influence by letting others members in, thats the simple fact. Im for an enlarge UNSC membership, since i think it will be credible should it let in more members, but that's just wishful thinking and wont change anything.
