I'm complaining on restricting the freedom to choose what to wear.
@ JEskandari
bro, it works both ways. Our culture teaches us that we must be modest. It's not an Islamic thing, but an Iranian thing. I, as a non-muslim, will never walk around an Iranian city without my shirt or short shorts (hypothetically). However I demand the right to be able to dress the way I want according to our own cultural teachings. Iranian culture is not just the extreme Islamic culture that the regime and a minority of our fellow countrymen practice. The regime is correct in regulating morality to an extent but they should not be pushing it like they are today. Current laws are idiotic and go against all Iranian teachings and values. Forcing a woman to cover her hair against her will or forcing a man not to wear certain types of tee shirts and shorts is simply idiotic. Every year the regime goes through hell to mandate these laws and it's only creataing hate. The regime is losing legitimacy over simple matters and change is overdue.
You say it's wrong to restrict people's ability to dress the way they want. We are being forced to dress the way we don't want.
