The main aim should be to make people "nationalist" and not "Islamist". If a muslim is nationalist, he will take pride in his culture and heritage.
If a muslim is "islamist" he will have to look to Saudi arabia each and every time to get his set of beliefs attested by Arabs

Version 2 of Quran is not possible-
Saudi Arabia is the place where Islam was generated- so naturally we respect that- Do you see people in Pakistan wearing thoub to be considered muslim? abandoning their houses living in deserts in tents to be a muslim- riding camels to be considered and attested as Muslims?-

Yes there are hindus and non-hindus, christians and non-christians but anywhere in the Vedic texts is it written that non-hindus are inferior to hindus?And regarding ethics, ethics change according to the social structure, then why did Mohammed considered his ethics to the best? You talked about slavery, should I consider the women won in wars as slaves or concubines? Well, aren't these "right-hand-possess" women made eligible for muslims? And this is excluding the 4 married wives. wow!

No. I don't get what you are trying to say.

Are you saying others also did wrong? How does that help?

Growing beards, being poligamic, keeping women in curtains, preferring culturally alien Arabic over punjabi/sindhi in matters of faith, are those not enough already? Behaving like medival Arabi tribesman will not earn you a batch of being nationalist.

Vinod- the question you should be asking us here is- does Islam teach us to torture or kill servants? IS it written in Quran?- Thats the topic isn't it- by citing these slave cases as examples- you are trying to imply that islam allows that- So the ignorance is on you-

You want to know the answers on topic in context with the thread- you have all your answers in the post you quoted about treatments of slaves in Islam- whay people do is totally another thing- its like blaming the causalities of Hiroshima or Nagasaki on Christianity-

No. It is not totally another thing.

The Islamic societies always defined their behavior in terms of Islam. The destruction of temples and genocides are presented in all of Islamic history in glowing terms and while praising their religion that granted them those victories.

Will things change in the future if Muslims are again strong? Why should they?
