I would you recommend you to watch Omer Series made in KSA, its a very good series they managed to produce with accurate historical events .

We need to modernise our islamic cultural centres into islamic movie theatres. It is better option.
Initially muslim religious scholars opposed every idea of evolution as far as religion is concerned. They opposed use of loud speaker in mosques. Declared photography a sinful act. This mindset is anti creativity and killer of intellect.

If there is no need for a masjid, then the building can be re-purposed. If there is a day when those mosques you mentioned are not needed as mosques, don't you think they will be reused for other purposes?

Why are you so hell bent on justifying why a mosque should be re-purposed. The OP is on an Islamic center into a commercial cinema.

As I said earlier, why only converting to cinema. Absolutely fine to convert into school, kids activities, and list goes on.
