ISI chief secretly visits Kabul, met Ashraf Ghani regarding Afghan reconciliation process

Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) chief Gen Rizwan Akhtar has paid a secret visit to Kabul to meet Afghan President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani on Afghan reconciliation process.

The secret visit by ISI chief was also confirmed by the former National Directorate of Security (NDS) chief Amrullah Saleh who took to Facebook.
The visit by Gen Akhtar comes as a two-day informal talks between the Afghan delegation and Taliban representatives concluded earlier this week over Afghan reconciliation process in Qatar. In the meantime, the Afghan Senate House Speaker Fazal Hadi Muslimyar said earlier this week, “I am not optimistic regarding the peace process brought to us by Pakistan as the Afghan delegation is set to meet with the Taliban representatives in Qatar.”
Muslimyar said, “Personally, I am not convinced with the reconciliation process which comes through Pakistan and the main motive behind such efforts are not ascertained.”
Muslimyar also added that both the Afghan and Pakistani governments should take practical steps in eliminating those groups who, he alleged, were funded from Pakistan, if both the nations were working together to bring peace and stability in the region.

Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) chief Gen Rizwan Akhtar has paid a secret visit to Kabul to meet Afghan President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani on Afghan reconciliation process.
A source informed of the visit told Voice of America (VOA)/Ashna that Gen Rizwan Akhtar visited Kabul on Wednesday to meet President Ghani. The source speaking on condition of anonymity said Gen Akhtar reaffirmed Pakistan's support to persuade the Taliban militants for joining peace process.
The secret visit by ISI chief was also confirmed by the former National Directorate of Security (NDS) chief Amrullah Saleh who took to Facebook.

Both groups ( taliban & afghan govt ) will have to take some steps backs inorder to achieve some progress. But what Afghanistan is doing is creating pressure on Pakistan by saying we will take help from India ! Even by US funding they couldnt built Afghanistan and what india is doing there is creating another 2000 era and creating conflict between internal groups.

Once india will train their Army , and army will fight taliban then one day we will see Afghan taliban will start attacking roots ( india ) that will be not favorable for Pakistan either as Pakistan will have to control both borders then and india will start blame game as always

Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) still doesn't issue any press release, nor told about this visit on social media (Twitter), normally they made these kind of announcements. It means they want to kept this visit secret
