No, we don'tTrust me, you don't want to hear my opinion on religion...
Religion is a personal choice. If someone is an athiest then there is no need to bash him or shove religion down his throat.
yep sir you are right, it is wastage of time to talk to an atheist about religion.
No, we don't
I have no problem of anyone being an atheist... I share good relationships with many atheists as long as they do not start-giving hate speech about religions. Personal beliefs should always be honoredReligion is a personal choice. If someone is an athiest then there is no need to bash him or shove religion down his throat.
The thread starter did not ask for a discussion on atheism or agnosticism, all he did was ask if there were others who shared his beliefs. If you don't share his beliefs, don't respond.
well it would be better to stop pretending and tell reality to parents because it is better to be nonmuslim then a munafiq(hypocrite or one who pretends to be MUSLIM)
Cos MUSLIM is some one who believes in ALLAH PAK and if you don,t then why to pretend before parents.
I would say depends on your situation. But as you said, you don't want to hurt their feelings, so being closet agnostic is better. I guess once you are in this journey, you will become atheist eventually. I did.Actually it's not. I love my parents a lot, and want them to stay happy with me. By coming out as an agnostic, I'll cause emotional pain to my parents and they will be really hurt. The reason they won't be happy is because they'll fear that I'll go to hell, and they'll also feel guilty about themselves thinking that they were not able to be good parents. It's best to keep quiet about my agnosticism, and let my parents think that I'm Muslim.
