Well you can argue with some Sunni person, what I know that In Islam there is no concept of Temp Marriages . Second beating crap out of you is also stupid for someone who died centuries ago, lots of holy personalities died but we don't cry nor beat ourselves bloody . Islam is not about Shia or Sunni , no one is talking about Sunni's been divided , Of course they are and can be but what does it has to do with Islam which is undivided and unchanged ? I am talking about Orthdox Islam brought by Muhammad pbuh not by Ali or Hussain , or Umar or Abu Bakr .. yes they are respectable figures but none of them are either Nabi/Prophet . The topic is about the Imam using a certain practice in Shiaism have sex with young girls which is not just unethical but punishable act in Islam . As for Crying, its fine .. People cry when their loved one like Parents or Kids die , but try crying for your dead parents after 20 years .. you will have hard time but seeing Shia people crying or i dare say ( Fake crying ) its just funny cause one moment they are going like Wah Wah Wah, and all of a sudden full on crying .

The Orthodox Islam I follow has no place for self beating , its not logical to be part of worship as many Shia claims , Sorry but the Islam I follow goes in complete opposite direction as mainframe Shia beliefs , the Fundamentals of Shia religion is wrong hence whatever comes next has no baseline . As for Sunni stuff you can ask any Sunni person to clarify I can't help you because I am niether Shia nor Sunni .

Well now it just become your version of Islam. Islam you follow are not followed by shia and majority Sunni. I don't what you mean by orthodox Islam but being born into one sect doesn't mean it is correct. It need understanding and reading and open to different views. I follow ahlulbait and Quran. You may follow whatever you like.

As I say I follow the Islam Prophet Muhammad pbuh brought, Ahle-bait or 4 Rashidun Caliph were merely trying to sustain what was left by the prophet , and that is where things went bad .. the problem is what you mention yourself, you don't follow Muhammad but Ahle bait . I was born into a sect to but I refused and reject to follow them as they all are wrong . There is only One Islam , Islam of Muhammad pbuh not of Ali , Hussain , Umar or Abu Bakr .

No, about Mut'ah marriage, Sunni is united to say it as haram. There are many Shahih hadith who oppose Mut'ah marriage. It had been legalized during Authas war but then prohibited by prophet. Do you want me to put all the hadith who oppose Mutah marriage here ?

The topic here is not that complex as much as few of us used to make it. Two sects have different literature in this regard but as just I see, we have already tried to enforce my side of Sect onto other side which is no healthy.

So just because it has turned out to be yet another Sectarian come Religious fest fight; I am closing down this thread and I really hope that members can stay with their own thoughts but not to repeat again. Our intolerance & shortsightedness is the reason that this Forum does not allow such discussion.
