Perhaps you didn't notice but North Korea invaded South Korea. Not the U.S. North Vietnam invaded South Vietnam, Iraq invaded Kuwait, 9/11 attacks,etc. Syria got itself in a civil war.

Just remember that US cleared staff from the Basra consulate after receiving info of "credible threats" aka Iranian retaliation threats. Just saying. Iran is afraid of its asset being hit but US is also worried too.
