my question again is this fear of America you are talking about, is it for his own self, will America kill him if he goes for IP pipeline.
Sanctions and withdrawal of support for NS and his government. That is what he is afraid of, and he will bend over backwards with the slightest bit of US pressure.
You also think IP pipeline is in national interest?? national interest of who?? the country who cannot run without money from others because majority of their population is dishonest thieves and tax evaders?
As long as it helps meet our energy demands in a sustainable way, it's certainly in our interests.
More so than oil freebies we get from KSA, that may stop in the future, leaving us helpless again.
Anything that gets the job done is in our national interest.
Besides, even if there is government change in Iran and the US influence in the region once again leaves, the prospect of the IP pipeline will still remain.
