Iran, Airbus strike deal for 12 A-380, 16 A-350 jets

Oh just great, rub in some salt and gunpowder and light it. That is just wonderfully fantastic since the Republican hate mongers don't give a crap. Thankyouverymuch Irfan Baloch.

on the contrary Republicans are capitalists and billions are at stake here. they should take off their Saudi/ Israeli hat for a moment and just think like an American and for America for a change.

It's not gonna happen, they are Religio Fascist Capitalists, in that order. It is rare find one with any common sense.

Massive investment in Iran's Commercial fleet those old planes they had were becoming a major aviation hazard good to see them getting some newer planes for safety of people flying in them

.

Even then it is impossible to do in two weeks. Trust me. If Iran takes one of those aircrafts we need to give it a new paintjob. We need to de register and re register it. We need to check it and overhaul it. We need to install engines, check engines. Make service contracts, insurance contracts. We need to adjust the cabin for Iran Airs demands. This can´t be done in 2 weeks.

Come on bro. We both know thats false. I understand you thought I was laughing at you reason you got angry and said that. So I won't go into too much details about this.

I was laughing about what the iranian guy said. You should take it on him not me. :meeting:
Even though i know he said all that because he is mad you touched on some hard facts about Iran's outdated aviation sector which he didnt like.

So chill Amigo.

What? I didn´t even notice his post. lol

i did not say in 2 weeks. but about a month or 2? then yes . but unlikely as it requires what you said and you forgot it's custom interior. and the fact the i dont think theres any airport in Iran that can hold the a380, i think? most likely Amedeo will probably dry lease some a380's to Iran. also do you know if Singapore airlines is extending their lease on their a380's. also emirates has 10 a380 on lease that don't have long to go about 2 years and they want to get rid of them tim clark said it. i think Iran will go for rolls royce engines as they are purposely going european with airbus so it seems logical that Rolls-Royce would be the best solution for the a330 the trent 700 and the trent 900 for the a380.

i have been told there are due to get a330's this year though. can you confirm that? if this is the case then they are either dry leasing them or doing a buy back with the lessor. as the a330 waiting list is quiet long and lessors make up a huge amount of the order schedule. either that or the a330 order book is lower than anticipated. also how the a330 neo getting along?

.
There is no a380 in 2 month there was talk about delivering 3 a-330 to Iran before the Iranian new year which is about 34 day away. Now honestly I don't knew if its possible.

.
Of course Tehran airport can handle the A380. I think they could not operate it with full capacity yet because gangway and luggage issues but it would work perfectly fine well above minimum standards.

Just give it soem time. There wont be a delivery in next two weeks and most likely also not on the next two months. I stated why. Iran might get some leased A330 with a quick paint job done on them but even that needs time.

I understand why Iran want it as quick as possible but it needs time and must be done careful. Any hurry can cause damage and in worst case cost life. I can give you an example. In t2008, long before my time...there was a leased A320 which was given to Air New Zealand.

Because there was little time for the transfer the machine was not checked from Airbus and its suppliers but from a local company in france. Airbus gave strict order to clean the airplane with a brush from dust. The local company did ignore this and sprayed water on it with a water hose. They then took off for a test flight. Because of the water the AoA sensors started to freeze when the airplane reached a critical altitude. The system got wrong data and plane crashed into the sea. All on board died.

As i say, this issues take time. Iran waited decades so dont bust it with hurry now. I´m sure Iran Air wants that all procedures are checked. ;)

We are quite happy with our neo developments. Many orders and the process is going down smooth. ;P

Yes, an insider in IranAir told me that at least two leased A-330s will be delivered in two weeks and I am pretty sure of it.Persian new year is close and they need new planes to handle it immediately.

Thats not part of the airbus deal. Iran Air is free to lease any airplane from any airline they feel free to do until their get their own machines delivered.

Your order the airframe and you can chose the engines you want for it.

That is.:agree:

You seem to have no clue about the company you work for.for your notice, at beginning Airbus offered to give IranAir some leased A-340s until new built aircrafts are delivered.it was rejected by IranAir anyway.I guess for now IranAir will receive some used A-330s ASAP.

Request Rejected

What question? Sorry i didn´t get it.
you see below theres 2 a380's clearly in storage. why does those a380's not have engine weights on the engine mounts to simulate an engine mounted on the wing? i know this is done due to flex so simulate what the wing would typically endure having engines on them. but why does it not have them?

i know a while back there were reports of hairline fractures on the wing mounts. but i dont know anything more .
