Actually, you don't have any idea how things work on this side. Big businesses dictate the policies to the policy makers not the other way around.My friend, you are really insulting the whole U.S and Europe policy makers, as if fat Arabs dictators are dictating the policies and not the otherwise!
well, in the car industry it was absolutely the otherwise, remember? just Peugeot fired around 10,000 employees to dictate their policies, and it was at the time which there weren't even sanction against it. and in the end it was Iran which was begging for their sh!ty products and accepted their conditions. things were the same in oil industry too.
Then it was a different story. There were talks about the sanctions and every one but Ahmadinejad knew they were coming, so Peugeot decided the sooner it gets out of Iran, the better. I know a lot of petrochemical companies that did the same even earlier.
