if you are to live by the Rules of Gita, then a lot of thing are to be changed as per our new and modern civilization and that is not possible.Govt can write many rules but what happens to the rule written by Lord Krishna himself in bhagwat gita ???? And one more very important question is are you stating the Texts in Hindu holy books can be edited ????does it make sense to you ? if rules can be changed now to accomodate new people in it ? what happens to moksha ???? the ultimate freedom from the cycle of life and birth ???
What caste is julia roberts ???? by the defination of hinduism she is a working woman so a shudra ???? or Dalit ????
Can any other hindu indian members verify what ashokdiva has stated "can the Holy texts of Hinduism be edited" ?????
i was not there when Lord Krishna told the Gita and I have not read the Gita, as a born Hindu, i was taught to think of others before indulging in a action. its called as darma not to harm others for the sake of self ammusment and i have lived by this simple code. Nor Rama or Krishna has influensed the way i have lived so far.
