will wait till you answer my question on bhagwath gita....HINDUSISM in its present form has caste system, but the word caste is no where mentioned in Vedas or Upanishads that are the base of Hinduism.
() Hinduism is not based on caste system or if castes are not mentioned in vedas and upanishads why is caste system still being followed in india ? why cant the hindu leaders come out openly and denounce caste system and why cant indian judiciary system pass a law to ban the caste system which is previliant in india ???
Well any way source from Bhagwat gita for you ---->
“Brahmanas, ksatriyas, vaisyas, and sudras are determined by their nature, qualities, and work performed.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita Original 18.41)
What this means is that based on the qualities developed and the actions taken by a person. A person will belong to one of four classes:
Brahmans - Peacefulness, self-control, austerity, purity, tolerance, honesty, knowledge, wisdom and religiousness. Those who possess these qualities should be the leaders in society.
Ksatriyas - Heroism, power, determination, resourcefulness, courage in battle, generosity and leadership. Those who possess these qualities should be the administrators in society.
Vaisyas - Farming, cow protection and business. Those who possess these qualities should be the business owners and farmers.
Sudras - Labor and service to others. Those who possess these qualities should work under the guidance of the above classes.
Are you saying these writings of lord are wrong ????
no, its your freedom and there is nothing wrong for you to ask and gain knowledge on some thing you do not know or mis informed off, (answered above)
this is complete false, this is propagated by some fools. (thx) (Answered above)
as the great Swami Vivekananda once told, you don't have to become a Hindu to search/realize for God. (Agreed)
and if a any one from other race want to become a Hindu, they do not need to be part of a caste to become a Hindu as its not a mandatory requirment. All you just need to say is i belive in the Vedas, Upanishad and Gita that is more than enough to you to proclaim yourself as a Hindu
Looks like i have more knowledge about hinduism being a atheist.
