And who are you to throw out any remarks? I am a "who" as much as you are "who" and just because I don't eat biriani does not make me lesser then you.

Got it?
Can you please read my comment first? IN CONTEXT?

Now please stop causing any BIRYANI divide!

. .
just now a Karachiwala major gave his life for MyPakistan!

And a month or so ago there was another Karachiwala... Coln. or higher who was killed in former FATA by terrorists of PTM/TTP/Fazlu ....

And you know I am NOT Karachiwala... I am Pakistanwala... came from North..but all Paks are mine!
I wish more people understood that!

I am literally the only one who feels the pain when these people brainlessly spread dividing words/ comments!

. . . .
@Indus Pakistan someone has misguided you wrt a mughal delicacy like biriani. It's Aryan in essence

Pulao is a step above Birynai. If briyani is to be taken as block 70 viper then Pulao is the ultimate f-22

I remember... the fragrance... the aroma... and the tender meat... Secret to Pulao is yahni...

Anyhow, since @PakSword and @Signalian have been promoted ...and well earned at that.... both need to offer us couple of rounds of PakDishes of our choice... sans AlloGosht which must be banned now forever!

Birynai is the bench mark of trukic rule in the subcontinent

Absolutely NOT, it is "Pilav" in turkic languages or "Palau" as we call it. Turks don't know what the hell "Biryani" means but they all know what "Pilav" means and is Turkic heritage dish in all Turkic speaking countries including Turkey, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan etc.

Yar tm to serous he ho gy OK but you cant deny that Sindhis got every thing to with biriani. Means sindh is overwhelmingly responsible for the the evolution of biriani.

Try once you will like it.

Hahaha .... !

Ps. So you got sense of humour. And you can't accuse of that divide. Ask Misbah.
Misbah banned burgers, nihari, kunnay paey as well. I like all of them..

Don't know about Sindh but first time we cooked "Biryani" in our house in Gujranwala was in 1998, and the recipe we followed was what was written on Shan/National biryani packet. I am sure there are millions of people in Punjab who have still not cooked "biryani" in their household ever in their life as this was alien to our culture. But Palao was part of our cuisine both in urban as well as rural Punjab.

Fact of the matter is that all these exotic dishes like Biryani, Nihari, Haleem, hareesa etc. are ALIEN dishes to us the indigenous people of Pakistani Punjab. I laugh when people way Nihari or Biryani is the NATIONAL dish of Pakistan, I mean seriously when our ancestors had no idea about these dishes even until 30 or 40 years ago and I am sure there are still many out there who have not cooked them ever in their life in their households.

Honestly, I did not even know what Biriani was until I was in my 30s. Pilau [meat, onions, almonds, raisins, with yougurt was a Eid or wedding standard. Now it appears to be rage on PDF at any rate.

Try once you will like it.
I will. I guess I need to try it and then be in a position to judge it. How differant is it from pilau?
