The Chinese have no qualms living in high end penthouses in prime locations however once finished studies they all leave back home to China .
Very rare for a Chinese to continue in U.K. after receiving diplomas / graduation .

Weirdly enough my choice for PM would be Rachel Notley, a centrist under the NDP banner; liberal in outlook but still fiscally conservative, and may be able to finally give the west the respect it deserves over Quebec.

In this case, its not even the immigration consultant fault. One is supposed to do his own research about living cost in another country. A quick google search will show how expensive housing in Ontario is.

In any case, i doubt anything will come out of their camp protest. There are parks in the middle of downtown Toronto full of homeless camps, if they weren't given housing, what hope do these students have. They will either have move to Nunavat or Saskatchewan or back home.

Well I would agree to a point, however we need to remember that most of these new immigrants are

1)hooked with the $$ signs "hey!!! Earn in one hour in Canada what you would in one day in India"

2) beyond terrible in English and rely on word of mouth to find an immigration consultant

Let's not let the immigration consultants off the hook, they are no better than snake oil salesmen.

Canada needs the vetting we had during the Harper administration and we need to stop being so fking sensitive and afraid of being called racist.

I don't think this is a Canadian problem alone. UK has its fair share especially London other big cities . Lot of dubious colleges which aren't accredited or recognised. The lure of international education and better life will always be a draw card regardless.....can Indian embassy not help them out ?

You are students. At the prime age with full life ahead. Your Health is at its peak, Ypur Brain capacity and stamina is at its prime. Man up and get your s*** together. These are not real problems you are complaining about.
Problem will be waking up every day with a numb muscle somewhere having your family at the back of your head always caliculating finances. When you forget about your future in persuit of your children future.
This lot is probably some of the Luckiest ones from Subcontinent. Having Canadian Citizenship probably 7 to 10 years ahead of them. Its only their's to loose from here.

But how idiotic is the Canadian Embassy that issued them student visas. Looking at the college, it is obvious the students didn't take SAT/GRE or GMAT. Why doesn't the embassy ask some basic questions before stamping a visa? These 'students' wouldn't be admitted inside the gates of a U.S. embassy or consulate. Just the paperwork needed for the visa would have tired them out.

It's honestly not the fault of the officers at IRCC, they take their marching orders from Marc Miller, the immigration minister, who takes his marching orders from Trudeau who takes his marching orders from corporations and REITs, whose goal is cheap labor to keep minimum wage where it's at and demand for housing high to inflate share price/asset value.
