Indigenous Automobile Development Efforts

They would just replace the battery and put in to charge the depleted one. And it's not like changing the whole engine, just the battery. Great idea my friend. :)



Current government won't give any new projects to Koç for the obvious reasons. They even took the Milgem project for them. :tsk:

Revojam's idea is really good and i think he should tell his idea to these companies or technology ministry from BİMER (Başbakanlık İletişim Merkezi)... They take all messages serious and they give answers from experts... Many times i used BİMER and i received real technical answers from experts of goverment... Also they have to answer it in a period of time... This has place in our country's laws... Revojam should do it... A great net can be established all over our country with that logic... This can work really good for our country...

Secondly Erdogan ment Mustafa Koç in the beginning when he was saying "Babayiğit"... Everyone looked at what Koç will say but he said this is impossible... So he rejected that... We know why he rejected but at the end he rejected it... That's all...

You can charge it in 1 hour but you can just change it under a minute.

So nobody ownes a battery, those can be given by state. So when you go to station you just change your battery, there would be a number of of already recharged batteries. And the one you depleted will be put on charge and let's assume would be charged in 10 hours, with enough batteries on stock, it would be a perfect cycle. :)

Edit: Forget state owned batteries. Let's privatize them. To open up a recharge station, firms should have own a number of batteries to get license. In time they would put a capital at the start but within time, they would profit with the fees.

Batteries of electric cars usually charge between 6 to 8 hours.

This changing of batteries is a must. It's almost impossible for me to travel from Ankara to İzmir with just recharging.

Maybe they have already thought of this issue.
Also think about the fact what if you are living on the top floor of the building? Or say you don't have an otopark so you park your car at street everynight one day your street was full so you parked your car in down street how recharge then? Thats why switching option is a must.

The roof of the car should have a solar panel and the front and rear bumpers should have built in wind turbines that generate and store energy to extend the range of the car.

It should also have a small refrigerator between the driver and passenger seats where you can keep your olives and cheese cool while on a road trip. On the passenger side of the car there should be a small stove to cook cay so that while your driving your wife can keep you happy. When you beep the horn it shouldn't make a beep it sound rather it should say "Esol Esek".:smokin:

@Sinan I agree with privatization of batteries. A government big enough to control your car is a government big enough to take it away.

Solar panel is not efficient. It's Ratio of Efficiency is very low and you are talking about photovoltaic panels. Their efficiency decrease even with the dust. Not to mention rainy, cloudy weathers which you won't even charge a bit.

Wind Turbines was my finishing project in university. A mini wind turbine produce around 50 Watt, almost nothing. Efficieny of a wind Turbine exponentially, rise with the rotor diameter. So it is also inefficient to use.

P.S: we produced a mini wind turbine with a rotor diameter of 30 cm... we thought about installing it on a yacht, so it would charge it's batteries, but it can only produce enough energy to light a bulb. Forget about powering the engine you can't even power a TV.

Gediz Üniversitesi'nden yapılan açıklamaya göre, Gedizli öğrenciler, tasarladıkları araçla Hollanda'daki uluslararası yarışa Türkiye'den katılmaya hak kazanan tek ekip oldu.

Otomotiv teknolojileri üzerine araştırmalarını sürdüren, Gediz Teknoloji Takımı (G-TECH), yakıt tüketimi azaltılmış, performansı ise artırılmış seri hibrit araçlar üzerinde çalışıyor. Makine ve elektrik-elektronik mühendisliği öğrencileri, danışman hocalarıyla 1 litre benzinle bin kilometre gidebilen otomobil tasarladı.

Benzinin önce elektriğe, ardından da mekanik enerjiye çevrildiği, yakıt kaybının en aza çekilip, yüksek verimliliğin elde edildiği sistem, yurt dışında yankı buldu. Gedizli gençler, 15-18 Mayıs tarihleri arasında Hollanda'da yapılacak Shell Eco-Maraton'a prototip benzinli araçlar kategorisinde Türkiye'den katılmaya hak kazanan tek ekip oldu.

G-TECH, montajına başladıkları Gediz Gasoline Car 2 (GGC2) adını taşıyacak otomobilleriyle, 26 Avrupa ülkesinden 229 takım arasında Türkiye'yi temsil edecek.

Açıklamada ifadelerine yer verilen Gediz Üniversitesi Makine Mühendisliği Öğretim Üyesi Doç. Dr. Selim Solmaz, GGC2'nin kategorisinde seri hibrit mimarisini taşıyan tek araç olarak dikkatleri çektiğini açıklayarak, şunları kaydetti:

"Bu sene benzin motorunun atıl ısıl enerjisini geri kazandıran ve enerji verimliliği sağlama özelliği bulunan daha gelişmiş bir araç tasarladık. Aerodinamiği, yürüyen aksamı ve direksiyon sistemiyle üstün özelliklere sahip. Otomotiv sektörünün yakından takip ettiği, önümüzdeki süreçte yaygın kullanıma başlanması planlanan hibrit araçlar teknolojisine katkımızı daha yukarıya taşımak istiyoruz. Bu amaçla tamamen bizim üretimimiz olacak, yeni ve yüksek verimli bir benzinli motor yapıp, bir litre benzinle 5 bin kilometreye varan menzile ulaşmayı hedefliyoruz. Otomotiv teknolojilerine meraklı öğrencilerimizle beraber buna da başaracağımıza inanıyoruz."
