Indian Army jawan killed, 3 injured in Pakistan shelling in Jammu and Kashmir's Sunderbani sector

.
One Indian soldier was killed and three more seriously injured in an exchange of fire early in the morning between Indian and Pakistani forces, an Indian military official told Sputnik. The incident took place in the Makwal sector of Jammu and was initiated by the Pakistani Army, which used combat choppers as support, the official said.

Very much doubt we used helicopters here - they would be very vulnerable. Unless this is a ploy to force India to bring in choppers and our guys are waiting with Sam's ready.

Chopper provides cover for troops. Good combination to counter attack. We have right to defend.

Just one down with Choppers ???? Indiots were supposed to be better at science and maths.... Choppers are bulk widow makers... you guys will know when they would be used.... idiots....

Combat choppers as support?

Maybe helicopters hovering on the Pakistani side were taken as 'combat support' by the Indians, but there's no need for Pakistan to deploy attack helicopters to support the, now routine, back and fort along the LoC, WB or IB.

. . .
Who would use choppers in that area, with planes patrolling from both countries. Its like indian media is not even trying anymore.

Fake news. No chopper were involved.

It was a routine cross border firing in which that bharati soldier was killed
