One Indian soldier was killed and three more seriously injured in an exchange of fire early in the morning between Indian and Pakistani forces, an Indian military official told Sputnik. Combat choppers as support?

Maybe helicopters hovering on the Pakistani side were taken as 'combat support' by the Indians, but there's no need for Pakistan to deploy attack helicopters to support the, now routine, back and fort along the LoC, WB or IB.
