Indian Air Force jets landing on a highway in Uttar Pradesh

funny thing in entire show is this line taken from NDTV News

"Officers say the landings are always simulated and the jets don't actually touch the road as the wheels would be damaged"

these guys with mirages in the video probably not aware with the fact that wheels could be damaged while landing on a road :D

and what a smooth landing of JAS 39 Grippen, for him it was a piece of cake

These were all touch and go landings I believe. What Pakistan demonstrated is truly a logistical force multiplier, aircraft landed, refueled (could also re-arm), were attended to by the maintenance crew and then took off, just like they would from an operational air base. What India has so far demonstrated is the possible ability to attempt to land on a long stretch of the highway, not saying they cannot do what Pakistan and other air forces like Sweden have added to their operational tactics but they have not demonstrated that yet.

Lol wtf is that i dont call it landing or touch and go i call it very low pass.

wheels would be damaged

Sabb tay mazboot tay paiydaar :D

What happened was that the pilot flew in over Stockholm, made a 180 degree turn,
and flew into his own turbulence (similar to Mavericks Top Gun's crash) and started to oscillate.
As the pilot tried to correct with the stick, the computer got overloaded, and the RTOS
did not provide enough cycles for the low level control loop keeping the plane stable.

SAAB knew that too much movement of the stick could cause this problem,
but they assumed that this would never happen, so they never told the pilot.
If the pilot had let go of the stick, the plane would have corrected itself,

And here is how the experts do it....

No need for a 20 minute clip, for things that can be done in 1 minute...

18 seconds from touchdown to halt, 20 seconds turnaround by aircrew.
(Most people don't notice the refueling and rearnament)
and 8 seconds takeoff, for less than one minute.

Didnt the pilot just bang the aircraft on runway like its a ball??? :o::o::o:

They forsure wud have gone for hard landing checks.
