That also kinda explains why Pakistan will remain unstable for times to come. Peace is much more valuable than Kashmir. Because you aren't getting more of Kashmir anyway. It only shows that Mujib was a visionary leader. It's better to stay peacefully separated than forcefully United. It's great. You guys should start celebrating 16th December as well. Even running with this logic for argument sake, why didn't the "real"/"most patriotic" Pakistanis keep the name (Pakistan) for their new country if they were the actual real/patriotic ones to the concept? ...instead of changing to ethnic/language based name?

Amazing how utterly stupid these people are.

They were so "patriotic" that they rejected its national language (Urdu) which is also the language of Iqbal Pakistan's national poet. That's how "patriotic" they were

It was Zulfikar Ali Bhutto who did this great deed. He brought our soldiers home and also showed the world that Pakistan was not going to hold on to past animosities.

The whole Muslim world was refusing to accept BD, and only did so after Pakistan made a decision to accept BD and invited them to Lahore.

What I don't get is why Pakistanis and you as well are annoyed. We are making a film about 1952 language movement. An Indian actor is acting in it...and go to the first page and you see Pakistanis are angry without a reason. Heck there is no Bangladeshi member's post in first page other than op. But still they are angry. I understand our films are terrible...but still are we not allowed to make them? And are Indian actors not allowed to act on them?

I frequent this forum only because it has an active BD section where it is easy to discuss various things about BD. It's hard to find a place like this. Close BD section and I promised you won't see me.

Bengali is different from Hindi. Both share the same root. Bengali is a language of this subcontinent. Native to Indian WB and Bangladesh. Which is not in India. But Urdu is not native to anywhere in Pakistan. Is it? It is native to some place of India like UP, I guess?
