Time for us to release our own take on '71.

The best answer to this propaganda is setting the record straight.
Agr aysa ho to kaysa ho? Yeh drama queens apnay ap ko agg lga ly gy protest m.
Their psyche could be related very well with that of a nashai Romeo . mashook ka zikar honay p he apnay ap ko blade marna shoro kr dytya hai.

We were the most patriotic Pakistanis. We resented the imposition of an Indian language on us but West Pakistanis were too emotional to let go of their association with India.

It's funny how Pakistan barely makes any films about partition we've gotten over it. Pakistan is moving forward still there is long way to go any many bumps ahead but it's getting there slowly sadly others are stuck in the past and continue to wallow in their hatred.

:woot:.........

@django @Desert Fox @Indus Pakistan @Game.Invade @Psychic

Even running with this logic for argument sake, why didn't the "real"/"most patriotic" Pakistanis keep the name (Pakistan) for their new country if they were the actual real/patriotic ones to the concept? ...instead of changing to ethnic/language based name?

Amazing how utterly stupid these people are.

. .
and dont fricking say this " janab" word in your pathetic movies.

Dont Do it

Resist the temptation.

You are doing fine. Happy thoughts.... Happy thoughts..... Charm the snake.... breath

You were the most patriotic Pakistanis and best Muslims, that’s why you backstabbed your country for the enemy, abandoned your fellow Kashmiri citizens, and resisted Islamization and the Arabic script.

Even today the rest of the Muslim world views you as traitors. No Muslim country came forward to recognize BD without Pakistan’s consent.

The Quran makes only passing reference to racial or ethnic categories. One verse refers to "the variety of your tongues and hues" as one of the many signs of God's divine power (30:22). Another proclaims the primacy of piety over racial or tribal distinction: "O mankind, we have created you male and female, and appointed you races and tribes, so that you may know one another. Surely the noblest among you in the sight of God is the most godfearing of you" (49:13). Revealed to a largely homogeneous Arab ethnic community, explicit ethnic or racial stratification and prejudice are absent from the Quran. The most fundamental category of differentiation and identification in Islam's sacred scripture is that of religion, of the new community of Muslims as "the best community [ umma ] ever brought forth to men" (3:106), and hence as the central focus of loyalty and affiliation for a believer."
Hence, Islam focuses on the state, not on nations.
"East Pakistan" was created out of the partition of Bengal. The people were all Bengali speaking people. It is only natural that they would not accept the imposition of an "external" and foreign language. While the basis of division of districts and subsequent migrations to and from the 2 Bengals were all tumultuous scarring events, never has Bengal been Urdu speaking.
for example, a Malayalam-speaking Sunni Muslim from southern India really have more in common with a Punjabi Shia from the North than with his Hindu neighbor. There existed vast differences in language, culture and religious interpretations but both Muslims they were united by a common faith.
After Bangladesh was declared independent in 1971, then-Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi declared the Two Nation Theory "dead".
when you have weaknesses in your belief, you are divided into different ethnic group and this is a sign of how you lose your bond with Allah.

We tried to save Pakistan from Zionist agents who were always in action to destroy the country by breaking its backbone; i.e. democracy. We shed our blood in 1969 to bring back democracy in Pakistan and the 1970 elections took place. If the elected representatives were allowed to assume power, Pakistan would have been a Great Power today as our ancestors had dreamed but those dreams were shattered by Zionist agents Bhutto and Yahya Khan in 1971.

Stop spreading bullshit, it was OIC that put pressure on Pakistan to recognize Bangladesh, not the other way round. A number of them had already recognized Bangladesh.

You mean the same Mujib who wanted to give Kashmir to India in exchange for peace.

The same one who oversaw massacres of Biharis, Assamese Muslims and non-Bengali speakers in the East.

The same who idolized Hindu poets, philosophers, culture and demonized Islamic history.

No thanks, we are happy such people are no longer part of Pakistan.

We have cut out and removed the Pagan culture from our society and reoriented ourselves firmly in Islamic civilization.

This is also the inevitable destiny of BD, no matter how much your government fights it.

It was Zulfikar Ali Bhutto who did this great deed. He brought our soldiers home and also showed the world that Pakistan was not going to hold on to past animosities.

Only a man of vision can do this. May Allah swt bless him.

The whole Muslim world was refusing to accept BD, and only did so after Pakistan made a decision to accept BD and invited them to Lahore.

Like it or not, Pakistan has a big standing in the Islamic world. We are the largest military and its sole nuclear power.

You should also learn to let go of your anti-Pakistan hate as well.

It was under the pretext of the 2nd summit of OIC held in Lahore between 22–24 February 1974, that Pakistan recognised the former or ex-Eastern Pakistan as the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Pakistan had initially not invited Bangladesh to attend the summit. However, as members of the OIC group gathered in Lahore, several heads of the state from the Arab world put pressure on Pakistan's then prime minister Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, to invite Sheikh Mujibur Rehman to attend. A seven-member delegation from OIC in fact visited Dhaka to invite Mujib to participate in the summit. As a result of the 2nd OIC summit, Pakistan formally recognised Bangladesh on 22 February 1974, and Mujib was flown by a special aircraft from Dhaka to Lahore to attend the summit.[1
