It is based on 1952 Bengali Language Movement. Pakistan will be shown in very bad light in the film. Indian actor Yashpal Sharma is cast as Pakistani police in the film.
If Hindus and their cohorts show Pak (Merkez-i Yakin, Sitara ve Hilal, Saya-i Huda-i Zul Jelal) in "bad light", what can be more "ecstatic" from the Pak point of view??? It shows the enemies of Allah-u Azimushshan are in fact the enemies of the Pak folks!!!!! How Bahtiyar of them!!!! Let it be like their "visa" to Jennet.....

La Galibe Illallah....

The Fall of Dhaka was doubtlessly India’s victory, because whatever the causes of dissent or magnitude of anger, a united Pakistan would have been much more assertive in the geopolitical front in the coming times than a Pakistan and Bangladesh distanced by hate and Indian connivance. The division of this newly-born state on ethnic and linguistic reasons and widely propagated stories of the massacre of one Muslim brethren at the hands of another, killed the spirit of the Two-Nation Theory, especially for the Indian Muslims who had struggled not for the Bengalis or the Punjabis but for the Muslim creed.
On the other side, Pakistan faces pressure at its three sides with Indian deployment in its east, in its north in Kashmir and in its west in Afghanistan. Imagine if Bangladesh and Pakistan had a shared foreign policy today, how would that have helped to restrict India’s imperial lust over the two countries. In time, Assam could have become a bargain card for the resolution of Kashmir; the Siliguri Corridor could have kept India from intervening in China’s matters; and the Chittagong Port would have been under construction as part of CPEC today, and both Pakistan and Bangladesh would be more fearless and assertive in policies that favor their own states.

Well, 21st February is the international mother language day after all. Thanks to the sacrifices of language movement martyrs. Many country has "shahid minar" to honor the Martyrs of 21st February 1952.

Haseena will never let Bengalis move on from 71.

Truth hurts. What you did. Trying to keep it hidden, being deadly denial as if the world is blind. Only fooling your ownselves.

Good to see, films being made, more awareness it creates amongst new younger generations.

Deal with it.

Theres a difference between acknowledging events and forging your entire culture around it. Look at countries like Armenia, Rwanda, Cambodia, and others who have moved on and still respect their struggles in an honourable way;

...and then you have Bangladeshis making bollywood movies, and screeching week in week out about how much they hate Pakistan. I mean not only do we really not care, but the extent that you people are going to please Indians is comedic and just hurts whatever legacy was supposed to be forged in the first place.

What's wrong with Bollywood movies? Not that I am a fan of those...but many Pakistani actors and actresses like in those movies.

please keep on constructing more minars
and continue to stay in the influence of India
You got any problem with that?

I never heard India had anything to do at all with 1952 language movements in then East Pakistan. But you will always find a way to blame your miseries on them.

Buy anychance will sheikh haseen doing item number with MODI G :D
@Slav Defence should these things be allowed here? I could say similar thing about your pm who is touring countries with begging bowls.

. .
Should be a good film. Good to see Indian actors in Bangladeshi movies. Irfan Khan in doob, and now this guy. Hopefully it can contribute to improvement of Bangla movies, which has been sh!t since Satyajit Roy's death.

Although nowadays one or two Bangla movie is doing somewhat good every year. 'Debi' released this year seems pretty good.

India was involved in East Pakistan from the start, the peak of their activities and their reward came in 1971
fortunately for them, they still exercise a lot of influence
