India’s Quiet Counter-China Strategy

A lecture on political science from you. No thanks, I have educated and informed professors for that.

Apparently as it was not displayed what the learned professor of yours doled out to you, as was evident by your earlier post, I merely responded to illustrate the facts of the issue.

It can hardly be taken as a lecture of Political Science since on the issue, there is much more to it that what I wrote.

can you give me a idea , why so many indian are here on pakistani forum , and keep hanging dispite been iltreated ?

I cannot speak for others, but I am here since I have friends here amongst the Pakistani members and more so, they are trying to bring some sanity in a very insane world.

I would like to contribute.

I don't think that the Forum management ill treats Indians.

As far as posters are concerned, the saying that- it takes all sorts to make the world - stands vindicated here.

I think I have your pace. Let's part ways for the sake of not wasting each other's time.

What is 'I think I have your pace'?

I am not so versatile as you in the English vernacular or colloquialism.

Nonetheless, this interaction with you did remind me of Gen Patton, a great hero of mine. He said:

“Now if you are going to win any battle you have to do one thing. You have to make the mind run the body. Never let the body tell the mind what to do. The body will always give up. It is always tired - morning, noon, and night. But the body is never tired”

General George S. Patton

Meaning I know what you're pretty much about and that we can neither of us convince the other of anything. So before more ugliness is exchanged, (open my eyes? racial slurs at your age really?), I'm going to save my time. I'm already going to be tired tomorrow.

Hmmm quaint.

There is no ugliness at all.

I have broad shoulders.

Open up your eyes now is not a racial slur. It is because you live in a closed society, you do not know the world.

Open up your eyes now is this;

What, Canada?

Strange isn't it, since age 5 I've been living in Germany, the US and Canada, and have been a Canadian citizen since my teens, yet I live in a closed society and will never know the freedom of speech. I guess it's just easier for people like him to brush off my points without considering that they maybe wrong if they see me as uninformed, brainwashing and an ultra-nationalist living in China.

Really if one were talking about eyes open but not wanting to see...

The mentality does not change.

Leopards do not change spots as the adage goes.

The Theory of Legalism 法家 is embedded in the psyche.

And isn't it surprising that he has never heard of the Beatles living in Canada?

And their song Open Up your eyes now, tell me what you see?

Some Canadian indeed!

Yeah I love it how these guys are always accusing me of being "brainwashed" by the CPC. :P

Yet they can never answer, when I ask them how I was brainwashed, having been born and raised in Hong Kong.

It's just the most stupid stereotype out there, that ethnic Chinese are somehow "brainwashed".

Yeah lol, we "ethnic Chinese" will carry around such concepts in our genetic structure. Regardless of where we live, or where we were brought up.

If you are a moderator in IDF, then I know why that place has gone down the drain.

And there we have it. Thank you, I can go to sleep now without giving you another thought.

You feel that there is no Legalism theory in China?

In Chinese history, Legalism (Chinese: 法家; pinyin: Fǎjiā; Wade–Giles: Fa-chia; literally "School of law") was one of the main philosophic currents during the Warring States Period (and before), although the term itself was invented in the Han dynasty and thus does not refer to an organized 'school' of thought. Legalism was a utilitarian political philosophy that did not address higher questions like the nature and purpose of life.[1] The school's most famous proponent and contributor Han Fei Zi (韓非子) believed that a ruler should use the following three tools to govern his subjects:

* Fa (Chinese: 法; pinyin: fǎ; literally "law or principle"): The law code must be clearly written and made public. All people under the ruler were equal before the law. Laws should reward those who obey them and punish accordingly those who dare to break them. Thus it is guaranteed that actions taken are systematically predictable. In addition, the system of law ran the state, not the ruler, a statement of rule of law. If the law is successfully enforced, even a weak ruler will be strong.

* Shu (Chinese: 術; pinyin: shù; literally "method, tactic or art"): Special tactics and "secrets" are to be employed by the ruler to make sure others don't take over control of the state. Especially important is that no one can fathom the ruler's motivations, and thus no one can know which behaviour might help them getting ahead; except for following the 法 or laws.

* Shi (Chinese: 勢; pinyin: shì; literally "legitimacy, power or charisma"): It is the position of the ruler, not the ruler himself or herself, that holds the power. Therefore, analysis of the trends, the context, and the facts are essential for a real ruler.

So, may I take that you are not a Han and instead you are a wei ren as the Han Chinese called the non Hans?
