Between yesterday and today story changed from going back to Bangladesh in 2 days TO will stay in india indefinitely until Awami League send instruction to do otherwise.

When Bangladesh sovereignty is attacked by india by means of interference and instigation everyday, what kind of farcical talk you want around few shiny arms? দাউদ হায়দার ও তসলিমা নাসরিনের পথ ধরেই হাঁটছেন লতিফ সিদ্দিকী। ইসলাম নিয়ে বিষোদ্গার করে প্রথম দু’জনের মতই আশ্রয় নিয়েছেন ভারতে।
দীর্ঘদিন পর দাউদ হায়দার ও তসলিমার রাস্তায় নেমেছেন পদচ্যুত এই মন্ত্রী। প্রশ্ন উঠেছে তার পরিণতিও কি তাদের মতো হবে?
ইতিমধ্যে মন্ত্রিত্ব খুইয়েছেন লতিফ। একটার পর এক মামলা হচ্ছে তার বিরুদ্ধে। সমনও জারি হয়েছে বেশ ক’টি। দেশে ফিরলে বিমানবন্দর ঘেরাওয়ের কর্মসূচি ঘোষণা করা হয়েছে।
সরকার পক্ষের কেউই তার পক্ষে মুখ খুলছেন না। নারায়ণগঞ্জে তার মাথার মূল্য ঘোষণা করা হয়েছে পাঁচ লাখ টাকা। আগের বিতাড়িত এই দুই ব্যক্তির মতোই লতিফ সিদ্দিকীও শেষ পর্যন্ত বিদেশেই থেকে যাচ্ছেন- এমন ইঙ্গিতপূর্ণ কথাবার্তা শোনা যাচ্ছে তার মুখ থেকেই। পূর্বসূরিদের মতো প্রাথমিক আশ্রয় স্থান হিসেবে বেছে নিয়েছেন ভারতকে।
১৯৭৪ সালে হজরত মুহম্মদ (সা.)-কে নিয়ে কটূক্তি করে দাউদ হায়দার দেশ ছাড়তে বাধ্য হয়েছিলেন। প্রথমে তিনি আশ্রয় নেন ভারতের কলকাতায়। ছিলেন সাহিত্যিক অন্নদাশঙ্কর রায়ের ছত্রছায়ায়। পরে সেখান থেকে চলে যান জার্মানিতে। কাজ করেন ডয়েচে ভেলেতে। এখনো জার্মানিতেই আছেন। কোনো সরকারই তাকে দেশে আসার সুযোগ দেয়নি।
একই পথের পথিক হন তসলিমা নাসরিন। পবিত্র কোরান ও হাদিসের বিরুদ্ধে বিষোদ্গার করে বিতর্কে আসেন তসলিমা নাসরিন। কিন্তু বিষয়টি যে এত স্পর্শকাতর ও ঝুঁকিপূর্ণ তা বুঝতে পারেননি তখন।

Wow....so what happened in Canada? I heard his daughter live there. If he settles in India, it'd be highly unusual. Usually, it's criminals and low-raking Awami Leagers who flee to India if they get into trouble.
