India planned strike on Muridke after Mumbai attacks, Kasuri reveals

I dont think india will get balls for around next 5000 years to actually attack..

What a joke man.

You didn't respond, because you COULDN'T.

Just like you couldn't respond to all those "Chinese incursions" into Indian soil (even one when Xi Jinping was visiting Modi).

Here is your response to a "Chinese incursion" that lasted over 3 weeks:

Indian troops suspend patrols at Chumar - The Times of India

NEW DELHI: Apart from dismantling a SET of strategically-located bunkers at Chumar as part of an arrangement to end the standoff at Depsang Bulge in eastern Ladakh, the Indian troops seem to have suspended patrols to the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Chumar, at least for now. Senior officials briefed by personnel on the ground said the Army has discontinued the round-the-clock patrolling it was undertaking in the area for the last few months.

Destroyed your own bunkers, stopped troop patrols to your own territory.

Since you can't do anything, you project that onto others, and assume they can't do anything either. As you found to your detriment when you attacked us in 1962, during our worst ever famine.

And on the day you assume Pakistan won't respond, that will be the end of you. It will start an inevitable chain of escalation, and you know the conclusion to that.

Considering the analogy of Chinese PLA incursions, I take it you admit just like Chinese Govt was behind the incursions Pakistani Govt was behind 26/11 attacks, very bold of you :enjoy:

Also sweet of you to accept Chumar as Indian territory :D

Why do you insist on putting words into other people's mouths?

And do not make such a ridiculous claim that the Pakistani government was behind 26/11, since there is ZERO proof of that.

Same as how there is ZERO proof that China gave Pakistan nuclear weapons, like you guys are always crying about.

Are you sure you are on the right thread?
when did I make the claim Pakistani Govt is behind 26/11, it was your reasoning and analogies that insinuated the same

Now trying to backtrack :D

Uh, no it wasn't. I never made that claim, you made that claim and attributed it to me. A classic strawman argument.

As you can see it was you who mentioned 26/11 first, then you tried to put those words in my mouth, even though I had never mentioned it previously.

Like @Slav Defence said, attempted stealth trolling does not fool anyone. Anyone who has read the thread will see that I made no reference to 26/11 or the Pakistani government being behind it (before you claimed I did).

:woot:
I ask you again, are you on the right thread? Did you even read the thread title?

"India planned strike on Muridke after Mumbai attacks, Kasuri reveals"

Anyway, IF it was true that China helped Pakistan get nuclear weapons (to the extent of testing warheads for them.. as is often claimed), doesn't that mean Pakistan would have thermonuclear technology? Since we had that in the 1960's?

For comparison, India's entire arsenal is estimated at 1 megaton in terms of total explosive power.

Whereas a single Chinese thermonuclear warhead has 4 megatons of explosive power. One warhead has more explosive power than India's entire arsenal.

Now if what you guys claim is true, that we passed on nuclear tech to Pakistan (and even tested warheads for them), then doesn't that mean Pakistan has thermonuclear weapons too? In addition to having a vastly larger nuclear arsenal than India does.
How is all of this even relevant to the thread?
I guess the above answer my question on you being on the right thread

Like @Slav Defence said, attempted stealth trolling does not fool anyone. Anyone who has read the thread will see that I made no reference to 26/11 or the Pakistani government being behind it (before you claimed I did).

In that case, your first post on the thread was off topic to begin with

India and China have "No First Use" policies.

However, Pakistan has a "First Use" policy.

So if India tries that, they are going to come off much worse, due to Pakistan's significantly larger nuclear arsenal.

It was misunderstanding on my part to drag this on:)

.
How all this even relevant to the thread?

Sorry I am moving around some stuff to keep on topic.

It's relevant because the border between India and Pakistan is well known for being the "most dangerous border on Earth" (the Economist even had this phrase on their cover).

And platforms like Nasr are designed to lower the nuclear threshold, which makes escalation more likely.

So again, if it is true that China helped Pakistan get nuclear weapons, and even tested warheads for them (as is often claimed), doesn't that mean Pakistan would have thermonuclear technology, which we already had in the 1960's?

In that case, a single thermonuclear warhead has multiple times the explosive power of India's entire arsenal. That's in addition to Pakistan having a vastly larger nuclear arsenal than India in the first place.

The conclusion here is that India would suffer much worse in the event of an escalation. Since India has the smallest nuclear arsenal, and they would have reserve at least half of it to deter China from rolling down the Himalayas.

That is one reason why India seems to be so spineless against Pakistan. Because they know they can't do anything.

No! I do not know just as everyone else, how a nuclear response is logical to a conventional airstrike on nonstrategic targets
What you obviously don't understand is that a 'conventional airstrike on nonstrategic targets' or however you like to sugar coat it, doesn't really mean the same to the other country. It means you are entering their territory. In other words it means war and as the saying goes 'everything is fair in love and war'. Whatever way Pakistan would have decided to respond, nuclear or conventional. You would not have had any place to go crying to or complain. Which is why your high powered delegation thought its better to take advise than to jump into destruction which I would say, was wise of them. Its as simple as that.

They don't seem to understand, before it is too late.

India's own internal military report said that it was India who attacked China in 1962. They assumed that since we were in the middle of our worst ever famine, that we wouldn't respond.

It's a poor understanding of human nature. Even a man dying of starvation will fight back if they have to.

R u a teenager? CHumar LAC had nothing to do with Chinese incursion - India and China have both an aagreement in place that neither will erect permanent structures in LAC; the Indians put up a tin roof one two that the Chinese objected to as permanent; and so it was taken down. You come and make that out to be some sort of battle of wits and courage? thankfully the teams handling LAC on either side are a bot more matured than that.

But as part of your bravado you seem to have agreed to the LAC plus_minus as India territory.I don't want to get you into trouble so may be you should edit that part before 2nd supervisor takes notice

Apparently you did not read much about that event.

There was a "Chinese incursion" into Indian territory for about 3 weeks, India was crying about it non-stop, and the final result was that India broke their own bunkers and stopped their own troop patrols. :P

Very good sir. And no I see no need to edit my previous posts, you are welcome to send them along with my IP address to any authority you deem fit, several others have tried before. Make sure you record their response and post it here please, I could do with a good laugh. :azn:

Now. addressing the Kasuri thing. The Mumbai attack took place in the era when the USA was bff for Pakistan. The shock'n'awe of the US senatorial visit to India followed by them carrying the message to Pakistan was not lost on the Pak military or the civilian leadership. Who can forget the fiasco and pathetic comedy errors with the PM of Pakistan offering up the DG ISI to come explain and then that get overridden not to unceremoniously by the establishment?

even immature Pakistanis, whether by age or wisdom, should find it easy to understand:
1) the nuclear threat works both ways - with or without 0/1/2 use 'doctrine' - therefore is a wash
2) any larger yield detonation will disastrously affect both countries regardless of where the detonation occurred (airflow, waterflow) (btw the chinese guys egging you on here probably want that to happen)
3) once you cancel out the nukes as above, remember Pakistan military has lost everyone of past engagements with India, and they have gotten worse since the last one, not better.

So if you want to talk bravado go right ahead and have fun. But don't start believing in your own nonsense again.

Apparently you did not read much about that event.

oh, there was Chinese incursion for about 3 weeks is it....sure thing, you have ANY inkling of the terrian there? stop bluffing and get an education. Right now you are making a spectacle of yourself ...:)

Sorry I am moving around some stuff to keep on topic.
Apologies accepted!

It's relevant because the border between India and Pakistan is well known for being the "most dangerous border on Earth" (the Economist even had this phrase on their cover).

And platforms like Nasr are designed to lower the nuclear threshold, which makes escalation more likely.
Nasr was designed on the same basis of Tactical nuclear weapons for NATO, to counter Soviet conventional military superiority. I.e If Indian military enters deep inside Pakistani territory and PA is unable to stop them. However the same would result in full scale nuclear response by India.

So again, if it is true that China helped Pakistan get nuclear weapons, and even tested warheads for them (as is often claimed), doesn't that mean Pakistan would have thermonuclear technology, which we already had in the 1960's?
That would be conjecture that Chinese decided to handover Thermonuclear technology. Just like the assumption because China assisted Pakistan in Ballistic missiles, China has also provided ICBM technology to Pakistan as well.

In that case, a single thermonuclear warhead has multiple times the explosive power of India's entire arsenal. That's in addition to Pakistan having a vastly larger nuclear arsenal than India in the first place
.
How is this relevant as long as nuclear weapons of both Pakistan and India ensure MAD.

The conclusion here is that India would suffer much worse in the event of an escalation.
.

This is a false conclusion, In the event of nuclear Nasr being fired on Indian IGB, As per Indian nuclear doctrine, India would launch a full nuclear response, with the intent to cripple Pakistani capability to retaliate or limit the retaliation, which can handled by Indian ABMs or come with tolerable levels of losses.

Since India has the smallest nuclear arsenal, and they would have reserve at least half of it to deter China from rolling down the Himalayas.
Chinese never rolled down the Himalayas since 1962, even during 1971 or 1975 , when India did not have nuclear capability, So why will China do so now.

India will only reserve nuclear weapon stock if there is an overt treaty stating a nuclear response on Pakistan is a nuclear response on China and China is treaty bound for nuclear response.

That is one reason why India seems to be so spineless against Pakistan. Because they know they can't do anything.
India did not hesitate to take military action on two occasions when Pakistan already had nukes.

unfortunately your fearless leader and ssg commando H.E.Gen.Musharraf also thought like you and got you all spanked the hard way. Mian had to then run to Washington D.C to seek mediation help. Did they not teach that? your own military general wrote a book detailing how that happened. Pakistan did not even want to reclaim several hundred bodies of their soldiers (about hal) to escape admitting number of casualties and size of defeat
