U mean Kashmir? Okay I'm gonna lay down some facts below(Note these are facts that u can look up, so do look them up and try to keep emotions out)

Kashmir maharaja was Hindu, majority of population Muslim.

Junagadh Nawab was Muslim, majority of population Hindu.

Kashmir maharaja acceded to India

Nawab of Junagadh acceded to Pakistan

India didn't accept Junagadh's accession...invaded it...held a plebiscite and accepted it as "the will of the ppl"

But in Kashmir's case instrument of accession is cited as claim and plebiscite was never held. Why the hypocrisy?

Either instrument of accession works in both cases or plebiscite does.

If instrument of accession works then just as we r in possession of Kashmir(ur land under the pretext of instrument of accession), u r in possession of our land(Junagadh under the pretext of instrument of accession)

If plebiscite is the solution then hold a plebiscite in Kashmir and stop claiming it under the pretext of instrument of accession.

The reason why such different standards are held is bcuz of hunger for territory. Ever wondered why Pak is very friendly with one giant neighbor and not the other? China never tried any such thing with Pakistan so naturally we don't feel threatened by them. Same could be achieved with India if India treats us fairly.

So obviously there's going to be polarizing views on this from both sides based on nationality. Therefore let's pick the western view as "neutral". According to the western view yes they think that China aided Pakistan in its development of nukes. That same west also thinks that India utilized the civilian nuclear technology provided to it for its nuclear weapons development. This is why NSG was created. Feel free to look this up to btw.

If that reason can justify the existence of a nuclear weapons program then ours is justified too. From our perspective we also have a sinister neighbor with sinister plans. So there u have it.

A neutral point of view however is this. No state/country can have a justified nuclear program as everyone knows of the horrors of a nuclear explosion. Moreover it is hypocritical of every country that possesses nukes to say that other countries should not have them.
