What's new

If you had one year to live what would you do ??

Watching Tokyo Ghoul 4 just cause I liked the manga.

Having troubles finding good anime lately.
so no spoilers, cuz you had read the manga
he gets married, and gets the short haired girl pregnant

. . .
As a wannabe survivalist nutjob, I would simply and quickly go to a place(preferably in Amazo or middle of no where in Africa) with worst eco system, harsh weather and wild life carrying absolutely nothing with me(not even clothes) and try to survive there for a year.

If I survive there for a year, I'd die happily as I am the fittest. If not, oh well....

Beat up the guy that told me I have just one year to live :P (till he changes his mind) and then go home and listen to this for a bit:

90s, what a music decade :-)

Sadly new rock bands don't pop up these days like in the past. I don't think we'll ever see new rock musicians having the appeal that Led Zeppelin, Nirvana, Beatles had in their time.

90s was really the end of the truly great music era for me. There is stuff out there thats good still now...but there isnt a critical mass hitting the Apex anymore.

What I was saying is that the musical culture is now gone. I remember the days when every teenage boys wanted to be part of a rock band. I don't really remember 90's music era. Just know some songs that my elder brother and other elder cousins liked. Like songs of Bon Jovi and some of Linkin Park....

This piece of news that I came across few days ago made me realize how rock music is no longer a prominent force of youth culture across the globe.

Well rock music has strong testosterone based energy behind it...if you look how it originated from soul, blues, rock n roll etc (reeling under oppression, it was a release of your raw energy under your terms and control). Heck you can even hear it with no explanation needed from the raw sound of this opening riff for example:

As western society becomes more feminized (esp starting at the youth) and "politically correct" (good luck saying f@..got in the lyrics like that anymore)....even the once considered (by WW2 generation) "degenerate" rock is now transitioned to the realm of the "patriarchy". Now its all this techno, pop and rap BS...and more pansy crap posing to be rock (not that there is some good stuff here and there....but its just mostly mediocre repeated slop...and fans/kids with the social media BS rather focus 99% on the celebrities lives and crap than what they actually putting out in content). You see it even in hollyweird in the movies, where is the original content? They just repeating and remaking shit largely.

The 90s was really the landing and retiring of the ole rock plane into the hangar (after taken to cruise altitude and beyond by hendrix, page, gilmour, slash and the likes)....and it wont be coming out any time soon....thats for sure. Hey I'm just glad I caught that era in my mind forever (and prompted me to find the even better stuff from before)...I feel bad for you that you didnt :P

I used to listen to rock and related genres but I stopped because in a sense it is degenerate and is not good for the subconscious.

True masculine music is military music (whether chants, traditional instruments, etc...).

And lol @those who call rock patriarchal.

Rock is as traditional as Trump is Hitler or Mussolini.
