If India & China go on war who will win?

Because we can't win.

We are not stupid. Neither is China, hence the reason why they have not attacked either.

Obviously you guys were stupid back in 1962 otherwise India would not have launched the Forward Policy. After witnessing the destructive defeat India never tried that again. But you are greatly mistaken about India having China by the balls. You actually believe the Indian Navy is equally matched with our Navy.

.
How India has China by the ball when India will be Navy-less, we can sink all Indian warships, cargo and merchant ship via Tibet with DF-21D, and I'm not sure if Indian Navy can handle Chinese navy even in Indian Ocean...make a miscalculation will bring India misfortune.

This has to be the biggest joke of this thread.
Come up with some same response & I will respond.

World has moved on from 1962. So has India, so has China.
When we have a war, it won't be fought on 1962 parameters. The war will be based on current strengths and weaknesses.

1962 parameters? You mean 2017 parameters obviously favors India? Oh you mean this time it's about sea battle so it favors India heavily? And what kind of strengths does the Indian Navy have that can overpower Chinese Navy?

.
What modern war experience does China have? Never underestimate the importance of experinece

You still don't understand much about war buddy.
Defensive war strategy is very different to offensive strategy. A reason why even US get's bogged down repeatedly in even smallest of countries.

Here, you are putting your point across that China will smash India when a country much more stronger than China could not smash a country much weaker than India.

It's not Indians here saying they will smash China. It's the other way around.
I am just pointing to the logical fallacy of these arguments.

China would get licked if it attacks India. Oh, it has superior numbers, superior machinery and much better Military industry complex. No arguments there but the most important aspect of an offensive war is the logistics. A defensive strategy is not Logistic intensive where as an offensive war is.

China, if it attacks India will defeat itself due to the logistical challenge of the offensive it mounts.

Understand why a country much stronger than China is paying Pakistan through it's teeth. Just to get logistical access to Afghanistan.

All the bluster of Chinese missiles destroying all Indian assets is moronic. It does not take into India's assets in countering them or doing the same. It's like a chess player thinking about the moves he makes and not looking at the moves his opponent is making.

.
I never said that. I was just asking about Chinese experience in war as my latest source of information is WW2 and IP-Man movies.
Why are you asking this question when everybody knows China has not fought a war for some time? When you ask that silly question you were pointing at China, NOT India? I don't see you asking what kind of modern warfare experiences does India have. Pretty pointless asking that question. Since both countries never had modern warfare experiences in the high sea you would have to ask why the Indians are so sure Chinese Navy would lose.

US bogged down against smallest countries? You better not say that loud or @gambit will show you how successful USA has been winning modern warfare.

India has more war experience than China. That's a fact.

Regarding high sea war, this is again where it get's interesting.

India will fighting a defensive war, where as China is fighting an offensive one. How are you going to get all your naval assets to Bay of Bengal to fight India?

Look at the map of the sea routes and you will know exactly why China would not relish a sea war with India near India.

Because I know India has no modern warfare experiences. I was not sure about China. If you think my question was pointless then this whole thread is pointless as we dont know the capabilities of Chinese vs Indian generals.

In my opinion the winner of the war will be the country with the best generals that can manage to organise its military and use the most effective tactics as both countries has close to equal firepower and cheap labour.

PS: I forgot to mention fighting spirit!! Look at Iran - Iraq war. Iraq had much better equipment, weapons, planes, tanks and so on. And they constantly purchased and upgraded their military during the war but Saddams army still lost almost every single battle because of Iranian fighting spirit and the fact that Saddams generals were idiots

Winning?
The only war US fought for land/base is Vietnam and we all know how it went.

Even recently, they are bogged down heavily in Iraq & Afghanistan.

If US can't defeat Vietnamese, how in the world you have a chance against India?

Not sure about China having fought any modern wars? :cuckoo:
