If a dog is stoned, don't blame the Centre, says Union Minister VK Singh on killing of two Dalit chi

If that guy is in responsible position there is no need to rant like that and give media a chance.

That does not mean he should keep quiet. He was bashing the media, and he should continue to do so. Media has lost their relevancy in this country long long time ago.

.
I don't think he was relating it to the incident .
In India it has become a habit of some people to blame Modi and center for the Failures of others .

I see no difference between India now and India after fall of Mauryan Dynasty .
Fighting with each other for power and own glory .
WE need powerful leaders like ASHOKA .

.
I have seen the statement he made on TV.

At no place did he try to draw a parallel between a dalit being burnt & a dog being stoned.

He is correct, its the states job to ensure law & order. The Center cannot be blamed for incidents which state Govts are well equipped to handle.

.
Even though his analogy was stupid and at same spirit of an arrogant general .He was right .Dari Lynching or this unfortunate incident is a total failure of respective state govts .Not centre. This is a federal nation .And states have their own power.
And VK Singh should learn something from his PM about media handling.

Indian media is totally degenerated ,lack of ethics .

And @Zarvan an Indian minister told to our media about an incident happened in our country .Why should you ,a Pakistani jump on it ?
Is it some kind of obsession.

. .
Really? so what he was speaking about? Faridabad incident dint take place in India and he was talking about Mars right?

He was speaking about media, how everything is blamed on the govt. for no reason. He was specifically pointing out that law and order is the problem of the state and not the center

1. The subject of his statement was killing of low cast Hindu kids.
2. He was shielding the central government over this crime , well rightly so as it is his duty to do so as an employee of Modi sarkar BUT
2A. He just like his master Modi expressed his inner hate and bias for minorities in India by using the word dog for low cast Hindu.

See just like body language is every important so does the choice of words.

1. He wasn't talking on the subject, really listen to what he says
2. How is central govt. responsible for any individuals crime ?
2a-Absolute nonsense

.
have some humanity.. disgusting and sick have taken over indian gov.t

.
good point, you can't blame the center for every crime.

btw, just in case some idiot missed it, he did not equate dalits to dogs.

"See, the thing is, never associate local incidents with the Central government (sarkar). There is an inquiry going on. There was a dispute between families. The dispute...How did it turn out...Where did the administration fail, after these it come to the Centre," he said at Ghaziabad.

And in an afterthought - apparently aimed to stress that Centre must not be blamed for every incident - he added: "For everything...Like if somebody throws a stone at a dog, then the government is responsible...It is not like that."

NVM do you know when you have to come up with a clarification the it means you have said something wrong

GHAZIABAD/NEW DELHI: Union Minister V K Singh on Thursday issued a clarification about the row brewing about a controversy triggered by his remark on the burning of a dalit family in Haryana. Singh had said that the Centre cannot be blamed if somebody throws a stone at a dog, prompting opposition demands for his ouster.

"My statement wasn't intended 2draw an analogy. My men & I put our lives on the line 4the nation irrespective of caste, creed & religion. I standby to serve India with the same spirit, right now and always. Our nation, its success and its people motivate me daily (sic)," the Union minister tweeted.

Earlier in the day, when asked about the incident in Sunped village in Haryana's Ballabhgarh on Monday, the former Army chief had said, "See, the thing is, never associate local incidents with the central government (sarkar). There is an inquiry going on. There was a dispute between families. The dispute - how did it turn out - where did the administration fail, after these it come to the Centre.

By the way as a (not very successful) journalist I know how hard it is for media groups to get information, particularly in poor countries like Pakistan and India. I am sure what these current news articles speak of and are covered by the media are only 10% of the real cases of violence against Muslims Christians and Dalits in Indian occupied regions. So a lot goes unreported. The media of course gets the big stuff like the big riots but often fails to get smaller information or information that is overshadowed with a larger event.

For example talking to the Azad Deccan Movement I realized that Muslims were burned in Hyderabad before the Andhra Pradesh High Court. Yet since it happened in the days after the Gujarat riots most media focused on the Gujarat riots and not the riots that were a result of it and spread to other parts of the "nation" if you do not count these parts as ours.

So that is why the government of India should take this very seriously. Other than being the high profile cases they are a test for the government-whether it lets its hindutva influences fester or it tries to change its anti muslim reputation worldwide.

Damage control.

India is renowned for discrimination towards its minorities including Dalits. It's part and parcel of Indian culture and religion to discriminate against lower caste "sub humans". Change you culture of rape and discrimination instead of diverting the issue.
Again a big lolwa to you my little "Dalit" brother:lol:!!There is no such thing called "Dalit" at least in Sanatan Dharma!!It's a media invented term to describe all those people who are actually members of the Scheduled Castes and scheduled tribes as (per the Indian Constitution)who have always been a part and parcel of Hinduism and while i condemn this heinous crime against humanity i must admit that the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes are nowadays getting a lot of advantages from the GoI as a compensation for all those crimes that were committed on them in the past by the so called "higher castes" Hindus:coffee:!!

Nah,he was talking about that Shia bus bombing in Baluchistan which took place a few days ago:rolleyes:!!
