India have never really bought second hand jets
but their is always a first
I do remember that Indian Navy was looking to procure 12 Second hand sea harriers from Royal Navy, in yr 2004, but the deal felt through becoz Royal Navy refused to transfer the Blue Vixen Radar, which came with the harriers
I also remember that IAF was looking at Qatari mirages back in 2001
India was willing to pay 36 Million USD each for those mirages coz they had like 87% of their service life left in them, but Qatar was demanding 60 Million USD
