This was pulled out of something in India, it was fired at something other than Abhinandans's jet and they have failsafe's to not explode if miss target. At least can call it a probable. There was no cellphone or media blockade in Pakistan whereas Indian Kashmir had internet/cellphone censor during those days. Its believed the helicopter that was shot down was coming back from a SAR mission.

In Pakistan's case it has hard proof to refute the F-16 kill, Abhinandan's missiles were intact and were made available for inspection, to top it off PAF F-16s are under US scrutiny. There was no cellphone or media blockade in Pakistan whereas Indian Kashmir had internet/cellphone censor during those days. The argument that InAF had recording of control of aircraft comm doesnt make sense as well since PAF was jamming that day which is why Abhi couldnt hear ground controller, aircraft trace picture on radar also a farce as aircraft can disappear and reappear using terrain masking.
Your own guys say clouds can hide aircraft.

The fact is Pakistan has enough hard facts and proof going in its favor on that day that it's version of events holds more credible. Our only mistake was the second pilot claimed by ISPR was actually the same guy reported twice from another source for which there was a clarification later but was not given much coverage.

Single engine aircraft are difficult to recover from bird hits or engine stalls. Can't do anything about that.

If going down due to technical failures then keeping fleet operational is criminal negligence, India needs to accelerate LCA. Perhaps look into leasing platforms from Russia (Mig-29s) or France (Mirage 2000s) , till replacements come online.

It's good that pilot is alive. Also I guess IAF will operate Mig21 till they all crash.

It's like there's literally no regard for pilots' lives. Human lives have little value in Indian society and is seen as easily replaceable. Caste based thinking has shaped you people this way for over thousands of years.

As long as pilot survives, it shouldn't be much an issue for IAF.

He might not be able to fly again. The ejection seat is not known for being good for the back.

Relieved to see that the pilot has managed to eject in time. The last few crashes resulted in the death of pilots involved.

India should really resolve the MMRCA quest as soon as possible. Perhaps a CESS is necessary to raise funds :-(

Don't hold your breath. The cost of the original buy has increased enormously. Plus there is a corruption issue with the initial purchase. The LCA was supposed to replace the Migs years ago but it won't start for at least another 5-6 years.
