IAF Chief to visit Bangladesh next week

Silly, will BD diplomats & politicians wear appropriate dresses in Europe? After all, you should respect their norms, shouldn't you?

sleeveless is not your national attire, make the bikini your national attire and come to bangladesh. we will respect you, because we bangladeshis are respectful and polite.

Sleveless is also looked down upon in the west in professional settings. And your official wives decided to pull that off in a muslim country simply show a lack of class and respect. Thats all.

I find this ironic considering you are living in a Western country

Professional organizations can have their own dress codes, no problem.

What you are saying is your opinion, along with the articles you posted. And doesn't alone make it fact. There is no law that forbids women to wear sleeveless clothes in Bangladesh.

What is that supposed to mean?

What the **** is that supposed to mean?

What I meant was traditional India does not have sleeveless blouse in it's attire.
its not about the law its about decency and modesty and read the second article from huffington that i posted.

You're basically saying a bunch of middle aged Indian women wearing sleeveless blouse WITH Saree's has offended your sense of decency and modesty, just because sleeveless is not Indian tradition (according to you).

With that mentality how do you live in Canada ? You must be getting deeply offended on a daily basis. I hope you realize that fashion changes constantly and people are free to wear what they want.

By the way, are Malaysia and Indonesia Muslim countries too ? Why do they not follow same standards of decency/modesty as you call it ?

There are many different styles of saris depending on subculture.

And yes, sleeveless blouse is more modern. Times change.

Again, please kindly explain what do you mean by 'decency'? It's not like they had cleavages or something :cheesy:

The point is you can't do anything to force them not to wear it unless it is stated by law.

i have nothing against sleeve less, but wearing sleve less to a state function in a muslim country is inappropriate.

culture is the set of shared attitudes, values, goals, and practices that characterizes an institution, organization, or group.

Sleveless is also looked down upon in the west in professional settings. And your official wives decided to pull that off in a muslim country simply show a lack of class and respect. Thats all.
lmao, u clearly havnt been to pakistan, even in pakistan, sleeveless clothes r becoming a norm, my point is, u cant stop anyone from wearing wtever they like, dont like? dont watch it or ignore it

The Qataris certainly didn't mind after the US First Lady visited them :D

But the officers were the main guests and they were wearing uniform, so what's your problem? Just dont look at their wives and be happy, be pious.

I hope our Air chief offer them to buy our old mig-21s once we decomission them :D, there will be a riot in BD section here in PDF

question is not about what you can wear or what you can't, the topic is modesty, which your people has forgotten.

Dude Dhaka is changed now, girls are free to wear what ever they want, (not bikini on public though:lol:) . I don't see any problem with the wives of IA officers wives wearing sleeveless blouse, that's upto them. Amd why is the off topic discussion on bra's and lungis:rofl:
Thts why you are not able to answer... why BDR is not doing any thing with illegal trade?

Where is the official figure for your "water" claim ??
Our official figure has been submitted to your respective ministry. There is joint board as well. With respect to claims in the Bay of Bengal, it is up in UNCLOS hearing. Hope it will get sorted out soon.
Dude in border BGB-BSF shares the bribes in all those illegal smuggling stuffs. So it's even. Regarding border skirmishes, as soon as border demarcation gets done, this problem will also get sorted out also eventually. Our PM took a huge step for it, only to be thwarted back by your WB CM.

I think it's good to increase co-operation in all fields. We all can mutually benefit from it.

Lol man. We can afford to buy decent AC, don't need mig-21.BD will be purchasing Russian YAK 130, to train our pilots for 4G planes, so with the current procurement plans in next 10-20 years, BAF will be a decent force with a good deterrence ability.
I think your Air Chief will offer to sell tejas :rofl::rofl: the pride of India:smokin:

Don't think this to be true. You are from Canada right??!!

Care to elaborate why??
Because they've been screwing us and wants us to be screwed/slave of theirs. They also visit Burma and provide teeth to its arm forces whereas Mula to ours, which means they provide milk to snake and tiger both but us being Muslim-tiger get adulterated one.

They had failed all the litmus-Friendship tests in the past, have been failing constantly and would fail in the future too. In the last RAWAMY term, they had used us to get the best deal on MIG-29K whilst letting Ruskies getting away by providing us as used ones. Those junks couldn't be flown and stayed as duds until Saifur Rahman re-negotiated and paid extra 20 (Around) Mil to MAPO-MIG. 90% of their provided ammos were dumped as it couldn't be used either. So, we'd better off staying without them as the saying goes like Vhando Bondhur cheye soth Shatru O Valo.
