Im not denying Saab did their own tweaking but again what you are talking about is below, you mentioned 150% increase and all I could find was you were quoting performance upgrade for the non AESA radar on older model. Also digital waveform generation is another term for DSP (Digital Signal Processing) and FPGA stands for (
Field-programmable gate array) which means programmable hardware. Both mentioned below. Both are standard concepts.

Anyways the point is Vixen-1000ES is one of the radar contenders for the JF-17 Block-3 and prospective Chinese manufacturer for the shortlisting also lists it as a direct competitor in terms of capabilities as well as a french information source lists it as a benchmark. So JF-17 Block-3 is slated to get a radar in similar league as the Grippen NG.

And the secondary Chinese option is a rebranded Elta-2052 for which Chinese have already obtained the technology several years ago. So in terms of radar the Block-3 options are not inferior.

The AESA radar like the pulse doppler radar produces raw data, which is processed by the radar processing unit. The algorithms in the radar processing unit is what provides most of the range increase in the Mk 4, and at least part of the algorithms are portable from the pulse doppler radar to the AESA radar, and if Vixen 1000E does not come with those algorithms it is not neccessarily in the same class as the Raven, even if the hardware is identical.

At Defexpo 2018, it was confirmed that new upgraded Tejas MK1A will come with a Dual-Rack Pylons to carry two Close Combat Missiles (CCM) in a single weapon station their by increasing it firepower tremendously.

Weapons Stations 5 or 6 can be used for Dual-Rack Pylons in pure Air-to-Air Missions or only one Mixed Air-to-Surface and Air-to-Air Missions one pylon can be utilized for Dual-Rack Pylons.

Tejas MK1A will get Self Protection Jammer (SPJ) in a Pod mounted on the weapons station 5 or 6. Russian supplied R-73 will be main WVRAAM (Within Visual Range Air-to-Air Missiles ) for the MK1 variant and MK1A will also get ASRAAM. ASRAAM weighing 88kgs each and with a range of 50km is much lighter then Python-5 and also comes with improved range.

Isreali Python-5 WVRAAM was initially selected to be armed on Tejas MK1A but was dropped due to excessive vibration found while carrying out inflight trials of the missiles system on the aircraft.

I-Derby-ER with 100km range and India’s Astra with 75km range will be other two Air-to-Air missiles which will be part of the Tejas MK1A weapons load.
