400km is around the maximum range reportedly. So what if they are kept 100km away from the border? That still leaves a few hundred kilometres of radar range inside of enemy territory. Let's not forget that India has the qualitative and quantitative advantage in its aircraft fleet so they have plenty of firepowers to protect their S-400 systems.

SIGINT and ELINT is what allow countermeasures because if one have good good EW capabilities then it can counter any radar as it emits and EW gathers that, and with continues collection of radar frequency can allow development of countermeasures.

the correct and more reliable method of countering it will be electronic warfare. although the system might be protected against electronic attacks but not completely immune.

do remember , no system is used in isolation. to counter S 400 you will need a combination of methods to defeat it simultaneously deploying Decoys, making your aircraft signature smaller, using anti radiation missiles, electromagnetic attacks , creating too much electronic clutter to overwhelm the seeker of the S 400 system which a new system and all such countermeasures have been thought through so everything we talk here (as usual) is conjuncture , hypothesis and fanboy fantasy stuff.

this system is a game changer and a $200 quad copter is not a sure shot counter against it.

based on public knowledge the best option is actually send special forces to disable those systems.

The S-400 needs to be seen in a larger change in the Indian war doctrine and that is where the danger lies for Pakistan.

Till date, the Indian doctrine was the Sunderji doctrine, that is, absorb the first volley of assaults using the holding corps, while the strike corps were mobilised for offensive operations. Current Indian thinking, has been moved from this to an offensive doctrine. Now, without getting into what it is called, THIS is the overall scenario.

The S-400 has to be seen within this framework of doctrinal change. Have seen people from both sides talk about how this is an ABM/SAM/drones and what not. These are still tactical. And under the Sunderji doctrine, this could have been said to be defensive usage. But, in the new scenario, this is a tool for air space dominance. Without a fighter in the class of the F-22 or the F-35 and the PakFa no longer in the near future, this is the element of the war mechanism which is envisaged to give an advantage to the Indian forces.

The threat for Pakistan lies in the scaled elements of the new Indian doctrine falling in place. Right or wrong is a separate topic.

Most of us know about latest S400 acquisition by India is certainly a game changer and our Army strategist must be planning to counter this. This hugely effect our attack capability in enemy deep land through Air.

The Answer which i came out is "Drone Swarm Technology" Already USA is working on it.

This is like killing Elephant with Ababeel and like Ibrahim A.S killed Namrood Big Army with swarm of Mosquitoes.

S400 downing one F16 or JF17 can be a big loss but S400 Missile downing a Drone is nothing.

The answer is simple: Pakistan should evaluate all options available and should not depend on just one form of counter defence. The acquisition of drones and more importantly to challenge and neutralise this threat, Pakistan should buy the upcoming S-500 which is years ahead in technological and parity terms. Defence of our beloved home is of paramount importance and monetary value should not become an obstacle or hinderance.

IF we will keep flying decoys in our airspace, how S400 will differentiate from long distance where to shot missile?

In my opinion only minimizing S400 effects in our airspace is enough to counter this expensive toy because it is design for defense not for offensive role.
already both parties have long range radars so S400 for surveillance is irrelevant.
